Quick question... Affordable iPage web hosting for a small business website.? Looking forward for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Ok, I'm just working on my.

Website.

, and trying to stick a drop-down menu in it, but then I realized that I'm using frames, and I don't know how to make the items in the menu go into the main frame, I tried just adding "TARGET='main'" to the end of the url on the items, but that didn't work..

Does anybody out there know how to do this?.

The source for the page is attached, and I left the menu on my.

Website.

So that you could see my problem more clearly. Thanx everyone in advance...

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..

Ok, I already put names to my frames. So I tried adding the "<BASE TARGET='main'"> thing in my contents page (contents.html) as follows;.

<HTML>.

<HEAD>.

<!YES, I know that the title of the Contents pages wont show because it is in a frameset, but who cares>.

<TITLE>-_\CONTENTS/_-</TITLE>.

</HEAD>.

<BODY BGCOLOR="black" TEXT="white" LINK="lightblue" VLINK="blue" ALINK="red">.

<BASEFONT SIZE="3">.

<BASETARGET="main">.

<FONT FACE="Times New Roman, Times Roman, Times">.

<CENTER>.

<! And So on...>.

Do you see a problem with this? Check out the source for my menu in my first post. Maybe one of you out there will see a problem. Thanx...

Is giving the troubles:.

<FORM>.

<SELECT id="ql" onChange="if (this.selectedIndex)self.location.href=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value;">.

It is now opening in the same frame, on a normal iPage site it will work ok, but now it has to open in the main frame..

The question: How?.

I dont know.............

The old ones are opening in the main......

Exactly...Thank you, now would someone please tell me how to solve the problem?.

Thanx..

Correct me if I'm wrong, but your main page is probably called main.htm right?.

But what you should do is name the <TITLE> main..

Or else I dont think your targets are going to work!.

Hope this solved it......

It's working......

<!Cool New Drop-Down Menu System>.

<FORM>.

<SELECT id="ql" onChange="if (this.selectedIndex)parent.frames['main'].location.href=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value; ">.

<OPTION>.

DO NOW USE.

<OPTION>.

<OPTION VALUE="http://mail.lifeschool.net/pages/Students/DMueller/Pages/art/myart/galleryI.htm">.

Gallery I.

<OPTION VALUE="http://mail.lifeschool.net/pages/Students/DMueller/Pages/art/myart/galleryII.htm" >.

-Gallery II.

<OPTION VALUE="http://mail.lifeschool.net/pages/Students/DMueller/Pages/art/myart/galleryIII.htm">.

-Gallery III.

<OPTION VALUE="http://mail.lifeschool.net/pages/Students/DMueller/Pages/art/myart/galleryIV.htm" >.

-Gallery IV.

</SELECT>.

</FORM>..

Have you ever had one of those times when you want to say "Thank You" about a thousand times to someone? Well, this is one of those times! Thanks a lot. You're a space saver..
