That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

Also, you may want to do it this way:.

$temp_var = "<b><font face= Arial  size= 6  color= red >MULTIMEDIA SPECIALISTS <font face= Arial  size= 6  color= red /><br>.

<font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >DUPLICATORS - CD - DVD - CASSETTE</b><br>.

Low cost - Stand-alone - Easy to operate.

<p><b><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >CD RECORDERS</b>.

<br>Record Audio direct to a CD.

<p><b><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >CD PRINTERS</b>.

<br>Print Text & Graphics direct onto a CD.

<p><b><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >DATA & VIDEO PROJECTORS</b>.

<br>Display Text & Graphics onto a large screen.

<p><b><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >CASSETTE COPIERS.

<br>Expert Service and Repairs to all Telex Copiers.

<p><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEMS</b>.

<br>Portable - Permanent.

<p><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >These are only a small part of items available in our catalogue. <br>.

<p><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >New products are regularly being added to our range.<br>.

<p><font face= Arial  size= 3  color= navy >If an item is not listed please contact us..

<br><b>   All prices include GST.<br><br> Prices and Specifications are subject to change.</b></p>";.

Define('TEXT_MAIN', $temp_var);.

That way, you can start off with a few lines of html code, and add/change as you get familar with it. Use the 'classes' from the stylesheet for font/colour changes..

Hi Tammy,.

This is the error message ............

And this is the code ............

Define('TEXT_MAIN', 'This is a default setup of the osCommerce project, products shown are for demonstra....,etc,etc.

So if you can post the code, lines 10 to 20 of /includes/languages/english/index.php , then we will know what is causing the error message..

Yes, there is an easier way of doing this. Take a page such as conditions.php in your root directory, open it, and select File-Save As, and save it as index.php. Open the file, and where it says FILENAME_CONDITIONS change this to FILENAME_DEFAULT. Then go to includes/languages/english/conditions.php, open it and again save it as index.php. Your homepage now will just have a little bit of code at the top with the table header title for the conditions page, which you can get rid of, and fill the page with whatever you want by entering text and/or html code into the file includes/languages/english/index.php. Best to take backups of your original index.php files in case you want to reinstate them later on..

Hope this helps - Vger..

Just change line 13 to this:.

Define('TEXT_MAIN', 'This is a default setup of my new Store.');.

K, I finally got the error code erased so to speak.

Now I have one more question.. Where do you go to add your information about shipping & returns?..

For shipping ............

Change this line .........

Define('TEXT_INFORMATION',"Here is all my shipping information");.

.... change this line.
