Alternatives to iPage.com For domain Registration?

First question I have is Alternatives to iPage.com For domain Registration? Many thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... When I attempt to view my store using the url.

I am redirected to.

Which gives a 'cannot find server' error until you refresh the page..

I've tried it from several machines so it's not a cache problem. I am sure it's something in the config but I'm just not sure how to resolve this. I have nothing in htacess that redirects my store's url..

Can anyone help me with this? PLEASE!..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could assist you..

You have some redirector in you root dir .htaccess maybe.

Even this.

Takes you here.

Yeah, it's doing what's it's suppose to do..

But the store just started this redirection crap...

Check your index code and make sure you are using htaccess on your site. My iPage site was hacked several weeks ago by a person redirecting to a iPage site in the Sovit Union..

I replace the index and deleted the redirect file along with the image they uploaded. They were thankfully just playing around...

I'm using htaccess but can you post yours here so I can make sure I have all the basics covered..

I'll check what you suggested and thanks...

The root .htaccess will apply to all sub directories...

Ok, I've made sure that isn't redirecting the store. I've checked the root index as well as the store index and can't find anything out of place...

You have an extra http:// somewhere.

This.

Redirects here.

And then here.

....

Did you know a search engine spider cant follow a redirect like that?..

My store has been at.

For over a year - this just started happening a few days ago. I haven't made any changes to the store or to the iPage site in months. My problem seems to be only with the store url and what's driving me crazy is that I can't find the extra http:// or anyplace in the store directory or anywhere else for that matter that causing this redirection..

My iPage site will come up without the www however I never code anything that way (just a habit). If clear my cache and type in the url or if I try to use a link from anywhere else on the iPage site I get the store logoff url I mentioned earlier..

I really hate to re-install the store but I just may have to do that...

I dont think it's comming ffrom OSC, it's something in your webhost config either .htaccess or 404 redirect. I notice it likes to remove the www. Maybe your iPage hosting had done some upgrades to cause the change...

Thanks for trying to help. I'll check with my host...

My host made some changes to the way subdomain resolve. Why it's affecting me has not been answered yet (I don't have any subdomains). But after days of fighting with this issue I think I've figured it out!.

Each of my directories need a trailing slash -.

Redirects to.

Seems to work now..

YIKES - I'm bald now from all the hair pulling..

Hi.

Www is actually a subdomain so they broke it...
