Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
I'm sorry, I didn't mention the scenerario.....
I registered using a personal email address which I use for testing the site. I created a new user/account and used my email address as if I was ordering from the iPage site personally. I never recieved any sort of "Thanks for Ordering" (which i'm just generalizing what it would say) email..
I am not looking for copies of the email to be sent to the Admin/Store Owner, but am looking for some sort of "Thanks for Ordering" email to be sent to the customer as soon as they've ordered..
From what i'm assuming you meant by adding my email to the Extra Orders, would mean the Admin/Store Owner would be getting a copy. I'm not looking for that (that would mean I would have to FWD each indiv. email to each indiv. customer in that scenario, right?)..
Is that supposed to be included, or is it an add-on?..
You should be receiving a copy of the order email, just as you would as the admin..
Check your spam folder..
I don't have a spam filter installed on my mail server (ie i'm not using yahoo, hotmail, etc). I did get the other emails though - just not the first one...
Try making a new account with a different email adress to use for testing.
(instead of using the same one for admin and testing)..
I'm developing a site, using MS1 as the storefront..
I've gotten everything working fine (to my knowledge so far) but i've come across something that's boothering me. When I place an order, and enter all my CC info (i'm in test mode still), and confirm it... i'm given a screen saying "Thank you for your order" or something, just showing me that my order was placed..
In my admin section - the new pending order is shown - but if I check my email I never recieve any sort of message stating that I placed an order, what the total was, etc. Is this not supposed to happen?.
Back in the admin section, if I move the status of the order from 'pending' to 'processing' or to 'delivered' I DO get an email, stating that my order status has changed..
So, if i'm getting emails from, say Steps 2 & 3 of the order process, shouldn't I be getting one for Step 1, showing my order total, a thank you, etc.?..
Add your email in the admin section of "send extra order emails to".
That will solve the problem..
