Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..
I promise youpeeps do go through itit does get betterhang in there it is worth ityour body changes a lotseek out help from your team if you need itwere all here for you too ...
Girl, I had that "why did I do this" thought while I was still in the hospital!!! Yes, it does get better, you've got a little post op blues. Once you get to where you are moving better and drinking more you will feel so much better!!!! You can do it!!!.
I felt like this 3 days out of.
I even started.
B/c I got so frustrated that to even go to the bathroom I needed help. I am only 3 weeks out but I can assure you it does get better every day. Once that drain comes out it is a whole new ball park. I still find it hard to get in all the fluids I need. We are essentially retraining our bodies to eat. It does take some adjusting to.
Adhere to the guidelines as set forth by your practice. You will do great. Believe in yourself and keep in perspective the reasons why you did this..
You are absolutely normal! The beginning is rough. The "WTF did I just do to myself?" feeling is normal. You are afterall reccovering from major.
All the rules, trying to drink enough, trying to eat and not get sick, can be overwhelming!!! Hang in there..
Then you start feeling better and the BP meds go away, and the diabetic meds go away and you can't wear your clothes anymore because they are all too big, and people start noticing and you start to feel better..
It gets easier as time goes by! I promise you. I was in that stage for quite awhile. You go through a loss. Medifast food was your friend, your comfort, everything and you have to adjust and you have to find something to replace what Medifast food used to be. You can do it!.
I remember getting all weepy and.
Unconsolably when friends were going to a chinese buffet and I realized I would never again be able to go to a chinese buffet and eat all I wanted to! Now I don't miss it, but at the time, I was really depressed about it!.
Thank you everyone! I knew this was going to be tough but well worth it in the long run. I feel I can handle it but some times I just want to scream. Hearing that Im not the only that dealt with his makes me feel better knowing it's not just me..
Hey I'm right there with you. I just had my.
Last Thursday and I feel like with all the sip sip sip I'm sneaking something. I just want to take one big drink, but I know I didn't get this way overnight so it ain't gonna get fixed overnight. Hang in there I'm here with you..
Amber this is so normal. Mine lasted almost a month but I promise you that it does get better. Just keep telling yourself that it will be worth it because it truly is. When you have those "can't handle it" days - take a walk around the house or yard, you will feel better. I hated my drain and yes once that was out and I was able to go for a walk around the block it helped. Good luck and I am here if you need to talk..
Amber, hang in there. I am 5 weeks post op and I feel many moments of regret and frustration but the big prize has to be in my vision all the time. It is tough stuff but when the clothes that haven't fit are fitting and you don't get winded when you are exercising, you realize why you are doing it...you can do it!!..
