That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably know..
There is a contribution that does that.
Look at the links on top of the page..
Excellenat, but I cant find it..
If you come across it can you post it's name ?
Look in the Contributions section I believe it's called "Description in Product Listing.".
Zaxxon did you not get my PM? I have the contribution for this... I tried the ones posted but the code did not match mine and I could never get it to work. I found a gal who emailed it to me and it worked out of the box...
I have a iPage website where my webmaster just implemented oscommerce. I am very pleased with it generaly and am quite impressed with all it's features..
The problem is I have no php experiance and limited page making capabilities, so I am very dependant on my webmaster. since the iPage site is already built and paid for most additions need to be paid for so I was hoping to try and do some work my self..
When a custmer clicks my link to one of the catagories. there is a list of all product under that category. the way it's set up is in rows, each row starts(from the left) with the PRODUCT_IMAGE then PRODUCT_NAME then PRODUCT_PRICE then a 'buy now' button..
This makes for labourious browsing and I want to list all those product and add a section for PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION..
How do I add that ? is it possible ? please be as descriptive as possible when answering cuz I am a complete newbie to this..
I do feel quite adventures and am eager to expand my php capabilities..
Thnks in advance..
Do you have a url so I can take a peek? It sounds like something I have just done on mine. Will be happy to help if I can...
