Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an decent answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..
On my plan the Puree Stage meant I could eat turkey, chicken, fish mashed pototoes and vegetables but it all had to go through the blender...like eating baby food..
On the Soft Foods Stage, I was allowed to continue eating the above foods and not put them in the blender which meant you would want them.
Moist and chew well. Eggs were also added...boiled,scrambled, soft fruit packed in water. Pita wraps, low fat deli meat and chesses. Still not allowed raw vegs, bread, pasta, rice or red meat...
I got very lightheaded last week and figured out that it was from not getting enough water. Be careful of this. :)..
Congratulations! I am looking forward to having my.
From what I have found online about my insurance I will have a lot of work to do in the next six months, I was really hoping that it would not take so long to get approval. In the meantime I am going to glean all I can from this site. Try some of the recommended protein drinks and receipes. It's all good....the waiting will be worth it in the end. You are an inspiration to me. Keep on posting your journey..
That's why we're here.
! The journey is different for everyone but it is the same journey to health. Thank you for your comments and keep coming back. Jilly I was sipping water all day and carry my bottle with me at all times. That's why hubby thought it was the BP meds. I'm so afraid of dehydration that I meet my fluid intake pretty well. There is room for improvement on some days.
I didn't know before your post. Take care. MaryM..
While I was never on bp meds the the light headed deal or dizziness is pretty standard post op. Probably several months and than it just went away..
Good luck, congrats so far and just do the best you can.
That is great that you are doing so good. Keep up the good work and keep posting..
