First question I have is Anyone have any good Medifast recipes for ham and green bean soup? Hoping for any response. Another question I got... Just a quick note, before heading off to bed, as I feel adequate rest is surely a big deal with my journey...plus it's been a long day, and I have walked more today than in recent days...probably close to 2 miles...My neuropathy in my legs ,especially the left leg, is giving me a fit here recently, but I just keep on.

Walking.

The pain is so bad somedays I do more catching myself from falling than actually.

Walking.

It can be scary to say the least...and embarrassing when I am in public...but with all my ink, and the bandana I wear so often, not a lot of people would ever actually engage me...God help them if they did...they would slink away feeling like an idiot, to say the least...and maybe with a black eye, at the hilt...

My purpose here, however, is to release my wow for this week....

ARE YOU READY???.

Since the second week of August when I last saw my primary care physician, I have lost 50 pounds...!!!!!!!.

Mind you I didn't have my.

Surgery.

Til Sept.15th..

So there is almost a month in there I was on my own..

He told me he wished he had a whole waiting room of patients like me, who looked at where the initial problem was, and chose to do something about it....

I was so proud....

My blood pressure was normal, but he wants to keep me on the one med I am still taking for another 2 months, as I am still a stroke patient, even with my healing, and he wants to be sure...He said the additional weight loss will tell us what we need to know..Also, high blood pressure is a heriditery thing in my family, and he knows that, so he just has my best interest at heart... But he agreed with all the other meds I have been allowed to drop, and going from 17 pills a day, to 4..yeah I am good with that..

Plus I finally got me some chewable.

Calcium.

Tonight...Man what a relief....

I do think I will start to use some B-12, though it has not been told to me to do so, but my energy has been SO LOW...I am thinking it can do nothing but help..nothing outrageous, just one a day, and yes they are chewable too...so all my important supplements I FINALLY have in a form I can take...The old.

Calcium.

Pills I had were ungodly to have to crush..ugh!!.

So a good day for me..a real good day...now if I can only start to get all my protein and fluids in one day...that has been an uphill battle from day one...that is my next battle I am going to tackle...and win, I might add.....
