I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I bump into an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can help you..
Isn't it by default sorted on the product options name ? .
I have not seen any contribution that allows you to change this (eg have an order field) though it shouldn't be that hard to implement.
Or do you want to have possibly a different order for each product ? .
Eg product A first color then size and for product B for size then color listed ?
I'm beginning to think that the contribution to add personalization is casuing some.
Kind of conflict. I have a product called the Rocking Horse Here is the order I need.
The info to be..
1. Make it a dozen (Check Box) +10.00.
2. Choose Pink (Check Box).
3. Choose Blue (Check Box).
4. Add the baby's Name (Text Field).
5. Add the Baby's Date of Birth (Text Field).
6. Add the Baby's Weight (text field).
7. Add a balloon (Check Box) + 1.50.
8. Add a Message Card (Text Box).
No matter how I enter it I can't get it to order this way. Could the Text box contribution be causing some conflict with the the way it should work?.
The option type contribution sorts the options by option name, that's what I referred to above..
Is this the contribution you are referring to ?
I'm not sure actually. I installed one other contribution, but it organized by price. With this personlization contribution it just gives me a new attribute to add a text box. I was reading about Linda's attribute sorter and the instructions are difficult to understand. Which is even stated in the contribution...
I have searched this forum and other sources and I must not be looking in the correct place. I have a variety of products that require personalization as well as other.
Additional add on options for my gifts..
I have the personalization contribution installed and understand how to add these options.
To the product, but the way they are organized on the final product page has me totally baffled. I also tried the attribute that lets you organize this section, but that is based on the option amount and basically kicks out the personalization attributes..
Is there a spot that clearly explains how to input them to the products attributes section so they appear in the order that I choose on the final product page?.
What can I be doing wrong? I have tried it many different ways and it seams to have a mind of it's own. I noticed a great deal of people with the same problems..
I also noticed Lindas Attribute Sorter, but the instructions are not clear and I do not want to mess with it. Can someone help me with this?.
Anyone can help?.
