Good question... I dunno what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Not I'm aware of, it's strange that it works for some people and not for others though..
It's just the odd few that are unable to log-in...
I'm pretty sure this sort of thing must have happened on other Oscommerce sites?.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem, and if so is there a solution?.

Post a link to the site, as well as your configure.php file, without the database name, username and password..
Also, go to the admin section, tools and server info. search for document_root.
(with the browser choose edit/search and type in document_root).
And paste that here along with the configure.php..
I wonder if anyone has experienced anything similar?.
We have put a iPage site together for a client who has reported that some customers once having registered with the iPage site are unable to log back in to the iPage site when they re-visit..
We have tested this and it doesn't happen to me, but a colleague experienced the problem, the username and password was correct but it wouldn't log-in. He then clicked the 'forgotten password' link and tried the new password and it still didn't work?.
Has this happened to anyone else?.
Do you have any contributions installed which may make it so you have to enable a customer?..
