First of all Anyone know of any good iPage web hosting besides webs, yola, and biddaddy? Hoping for any response. My other question... Yesterday I posted that I had edited english.php and thereafter headings were showing up in similiar form to: BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION.

I thought I had loaded the original english.php back to the iPage site and but I had not. When I did this, the cart went back to normal text..

However, the admin part of the still does not display normal text in most areas. Here is a screenshot:.

I have checked the admin files and I can't find an offending file..

Any suggestions?.

Thanks in advance..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

The admin area uses a different english.php. It is located in /catalog/admin/includes/languages/ directory. The reason products and orders are showing correctly is because they are defined in /catalog/admin/includes/languages/english/index.php..

Thanks, Steve I appreciate your reply..

I understand that there is an english.php in admin. However, I've looked at it and can find nothing obviously out of order..

It must be possible to find original copies of the englishphp in admin. Can someone tell me where to download it?..

You can download 2.2-MS2 from.

Here.

..

You should be seeing lines such as:.

// configuration box text in includes/boxes/configuration.php.

Define('BOX_HEADING_CONFIGURATION', 'Configuration');.

Define('BOX_CONFIGURATION_MYSTORE', 'My Store');.

Define('BOX_CONFIGURATION_LOGGING', 'Logging');.

Define('BOX_CONFIGURATION_CACHE', 'Cache');..

Thanks again, Steve..

It appears that I put the english.php from the cart section into the admin section. Here is what I have on approximately line 50 of my admin english.php. Am I correct?.

// header text in includes/header.php.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_CREATE_ACCOUNT', 'Create an Account');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_MY_ACCOUNT', 'My Account');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_CART_CONTENTS', 'Cart Contents');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_CHECKOUT', 'Checkout');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_TOP', 'Top');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_CATALOG', 'Catalog');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGOFF', 'Log Off');.

Define('HEADER_TITLE_LOGIN', 'Log In');..

There is an english.php in admin/includes/languages - you need to edit that as well...
