My question is Anyone know of the best iPage web hosting? Many thanks for any comment. 2nd question I got is.. I have an idea..

If a certin image is loaded, such as default.gif as a product photo.

The "click to enlarge" would not be displayed..

Any one know of a contribution that can do that? Or can that already be done..

Like I said, just an idea, I haven't seen a contribution that does that yet..

But I am a noobe here... It is very possible I just overlooked it...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some research and get back to you if I got an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..

Yes, this would make sense as a contribution, I personally haven't come across it yet..

So it would need to.

- when creating products, set the default image if none is supplied.

- no show click to enlarge for the default image.

- maybe have a configuration option to specify the default image name..

Gave the code a shot, couldnt get it to work....

Kept getting this error..

Anyways I think it would be a great idea, hope someone can make it work..

My default images name was default.gif.

This is a good idea as I have "virtual" products (hosting) that don't need a popup image..

I'll see what I can do..

While($thinking = still){.

HMMM.

}..

Devosc - so close....

OK.....

Find this:.

<?php.

If (tep_not_null($product_info['products_image'])) {.

?>.

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" align="right">.

<tr>.

<td align="center" class="smallText">.

<script language="javascript"><!.

Document.write('<?php echo '<a href="javascript:popupWindow(\\\''tep_href_link(FILENAME_POPUP_IMAGE, 'pID='$product_info['products_id'])'\\\')">'tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], addslashes($product_info['products_name']), SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT, 'hspace="5" vspace="5"')'<br>'TEXT_CLICK_TO_ENLARGE'</a>'; ?>');.

//></script>.

<noscript>.

<?php echo '<a href="'tep_href_link(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'])'" target="_blank">'tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], $product_info['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT, 'hspace="5" vspace="5"')'<br>'TEXT_CLICK_TO_ENLARGE'</a>'; ?>.

</noscript>.

</td>.

</tr>.

</table>.

<?php.

}.

?>.

Replace with this:.

<?php.

If ($product_info['products_image'] == 'nopic.gif') {.

?>.

<script language="javascript"><!.

Document.write('<?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], addslashes($product_info['products_name']), SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH,.

SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT, 'hspace="5" vspace="5"'); ?>');.

//></script>.

<noscript>.

<?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], $product_info['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT,.

'hspace="5" vspace="5"'); ?>.

</noscript>.

<?php.

}else{.

?>.

<script language="javascript"><!.

Document.write('<?php echo '<a href="javascript:popupWindow(\\\''tep_href_link(FILENAME_POPUP_IMAGE, 'pID='$product_info['products_id'])'\\\')">'.

Tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], addslashes($product_info['products_name']), SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT,.

'hspace="5" vspace="5"')'<br>'TEXT_CLICK_TO_ENLARGE'</a>'; ?>');.

//></script>.

<noscript>.

<?php echo '<a href="'tep_href_link(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'])'" target="_blank">'tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES.

$product_info['products_image'], $product_info['products_name'], SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT, 'hspace="5" vspace="5"')'<br>'.

TEXT_CLICK_TO_ENLARGE'</a>'; ?>.

</noscript>.

<?php.

}.

?>.

You can see how the IF statement is broken apart here..

Sorry, I called my image 'nopic.gif'..

You can rename it..

Around line 108 of catalog/product_info.php change.

<script language="javascript"><!.

Document.write('<?php echo '<a href="javascript:popupWindow(\\\''tep_href_link(FILENAME_POPUP_IMAGE, 'pID='$product_info['products_id'])'\\\')">'tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$product_info['products_image'], addslashes($product_info['products_name']), SMALL_IMAGE_WIDTH, SMALL_IMAGE_HEIGHT, 'hspace="5" vspace="5"')'<br>'TEXT_CLICK_TO_ENLARGE'</a>'; ?>');.

//></script>.

<noscript>.

To:.

An additional idea might be to have the ability to specify their 'alt' attribute and default to the product name if none specified...
