First question I have is Best iPage web hosting Company in Uganda? Many thanks for any answer. Another question... Hello,.

I have tried and tried to get this to work but to no avail. I posted it on other HTML forums etc and searched your site..

This is my problem..

I am creating an HTML e-mail and within that e-mail I would like to have a variable created within that e-mail body with HTML (for example ID=/images/x-click-but3.gif" NAME="submit" ALT="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!" width="72" height="29">.

In a nut shell I would like the /img/avatar7.jpg of the e-mail address to have an ID variable and when a user clicks on a link to go to another iPage site it will pass that variable on to that site. That ID will then be used as the variable for PayPal to recognize the user that was the /img/avatar7.jpg of the e-mail. I don’t know how to properly put the variable on the paypal link for it to work..

Thanks for your help in advance,.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an decent answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

Ok, I think I know what you want:.

To change the value of an input element:.

Document.forms[0].business.value = id;.

I may not be doing this right. I am passing this variable url to this site. The ID="/images/x-click-but3.gif" NAME="submit" ALT="Make payments with PayPal - it's fast, free and secure!" width="72" height="29">.

Name="business" Value="id" used to be ".

What am I doing wrong? Or is there a better suggestion or can it be done?.

So all you want to do is have this.

<INPUT TYPE="hidden" Name="business" VALUE="id">.

Be a varialbe. so the ID is coming form the first form. that is easy if you could use serverside language like php..

So what KD, the other Fuzzy guru,.

Said just.

Document.forms[0].business.value = id;.

Where id is the id form teh first form. so you might have to define id first so it is a variable..

Also you didn't close this tag.

<INPUT TYPE="hidden" Name="business" VALUE="id".

<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="return" VALUE="">..
