That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
By "resize" I assume you mean going from one screen resolution to another? If the image is made at a certain width, say 1100, then that is what will display unless you limit it with a width statement. In which case it probably won't look right, not to mention the bandwidth it would waste. If you want to have an image that is not repeatable, then you have to make it as small as the smallest resolution you want to display (usually 800), not the other way around. That means you have to limit your page width to 800..
Thanks for the tip but I have managed to sort it without much fuss at all a very simple solution infact.
Hey icemonkey, can you share your solution please?.
This is all I did and it seems to work fine aorund line 53.
<table border="0" width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">.
<td width="100%" height="100%" valign="bottom"><img src="includes/header.jpg" width="100%" height="150" border="0"></td>.
I have created a new header/banner for the shop I created it in fireworks and exported it as jpg for better quality into my catalog images folder once I did that I then edited the code in the header file to point to the new image rather than the oscommerce.gif, the problem is is that it does not resize with the rest of the iPage site I know I have missed something but can you help me out on this ta..
