Of course! although you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you email the iPage guys because they can answer your iPage question better...
Hi all you have to do is get your admin that has control over.
Your sql to Unblock your sql with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' command.
Access of your sql has been blocked by a sql script that looks out for hackers trying to break into sql databases.
What the script looks for is failed contections to the sql database.
It is normaly set to a low number like 10 times.
Hope this helps..
I have the same error messages on my pages. Airsoftmart what does your post mean? Does my web host fix this for me?..
Check that your images directory and image files are chmod 777 for permissions..
Kloscommer is on a hosted server 127.0.0.1 is used for your local machine..
My iPage domain name is randdgear.com. I installed oscommerce about 2 weeks ago. It was fine for a couple of days, and then all of a sudden it would give me the error message below when I would try to access any pages. I contacted my iPage hosting company and they worked on it, and couldnt help me, so suggested that I remove my entire domain, and put it back on the server, and THEN reinstall oscommerce....because just removing and reinstalling wouldnt work..
ANYWAY, this worked.....again, for a couple of days though. I have done A LOT of work on it this time, though, and I really need not to loose anything. Please tell me what is causing this, and how I can fix it. Thanks, and here is the message I am getting:.
Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'localhost.localdomain' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /var/www/html/oscommerce/includes/functions/database.php on line 19.
Unable to connect to database server!..
Klos, in the configuration file instead of "localhost" try using '127.0.0.1' I had the same problem and am still having problems with this error.
Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /home/virtual/site192/fst/var/www/html/catalog/images/.
Even though I can see that the directory is there OSC can't see it for some reason..
The above at least got the page to show up on the browser window...
