Ye, however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you email the iPage guys because they can give you an answer better...
Yes but I have to keep the session ID, I am thinking the PHP would look similar to this:.
<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_REVIEW_BLABLA, 'something', 'somemore' ); ?>..
The html code is pulled in from the root level index.php file, and so you should not have any problem with losing session ids by putting html style links in the index.php page at the includes/languages/english/ level. I have so many sites, and I don't have a problem with this..
Really? I seem to be loosing the session if I click on the html link I made on the home page..
I have to generate the ?osCsid=XXXXX or else all the items in the cart are lost..
Any more help on this would be great...
Yes, you need to use the tep_href_link function to keep the session intact...
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Like what would the PHP code look like if I was to make a link to reviews for product 56 from my home page...
You've almost got it exactly..
The second parameter in that function is for parameters in the query string. For example, "product_id=56" would go there. The last parameter is to tell it SSL or NONSSL. In this case, I would expect NONSSL..
Whay don't you give it a try, and see if you can hash it out. This would go a long way in your development as a PHP programmer...
I have been trying to hash it out for 3 days, lol I am a webdesigner not a programmer!.
I feel I am close here:.
<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS_INFO, 'product_id=415', 'reviews_id=118', 'NONSSL' ); ?>..
Hey I did it!!!!.
<?php echo tep_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS_INFO, 'products_id=415' ); ?>.
How about some help on adding it to the cart ???/..
See, I told you that you could handle it. Programming's not so bad once you get the hang of it...
I have been working for a couples hours now I really need help generating a link to "add to cart".
Please please any clues will be good!..
Holy crap I figured it out! Thanks for all your help man, maybe I just needed you to tell me I was close!..
Sometimes when you are just getting started, it is easy to get discouraged not realizing how close you are..
I think you're a better programmer than you are letting on ;-)..
I need to add a few custom links to the home page..
I need to link product 566 to the proper review, add cart, and to product description.
Any help would be super duper!.
Thanks for your time..
Depends on where you wan tto put it.
I would think you want it under the Welcom text ont eh front page. Justt edit includes/languages/english/index.php and add the appropriate html in there. Remember to add a forward slash in fron of any quotaiton marks otherwise you will get an error...
