My first question is Can I run multiple websites on a single iPage web host? Thanks in advance for any answer or 2. Second question of mine... Is anyone familiar with the assignment of product id numbers in the database,.

Specifially when products are entered and modified via split files uploaded.

Via Easy Populate? Do those numbers change any what actions would cause.

Them to be reassigned to a new ID number?.

I'm asking as I am working on a custom page for ordering a product via.

An image map. When a user clicks on a defined region, an item is added.

To their cart..

This appears to add the item properly:.

How static is the products_id # assignment?.

Thanks!..

Products_id numbers are working perfectly. I'm just afraid that if I create a.

Custom page that references those numbers, that they will change the next.

Time I add new products to the database..

I.e..

Currently, Item X is products_id number 0010.

I add more products and remove a few others from the database..

Is item X *still* 0010 after those additions and modifications? Or does it.

Get continuiously reassigned to new products_id numbers after any database.

Change?..

The products_id number (and any other id numbers) keep on increasing, old slots becoming available are never reused..

Fantastic! That will allow me to hard link these areas to products.

Thanks SO much..

If you are going to use hard links, that may create problems while using https....

What about relative links?.

I think I misstepped with my jargon. I guess a direct link to the.

Products_id number via the buy_now function is more accurate..

Thanks for the reminder though. I've got a lot of hard links.

In the iPage site that I'm going to have to fix soon...

Product id #'s are auto generated, whether it be via manually entering a product or by automation via easy poppulate. if you are having troubles with products, via easy populate, you should explain a bit in the easy populate support thread in contribution support...
