Mydomainname.com/catalog says Not Found. I tried mydomainname.com/oscommerce/catalog wih the same result...

Here is the thing. mydomainname.com/index.php brings up my old store that I am trying to replace it with osCommerce. osCommerce has it's own folder. I have.

/var/www/html where all the old store stuff is. I also have.

/var/www/html/oscommerce. Where to go from here?..

It says not found. I also checked inside oscommerce folder and saw no catalog file. Somehow it was not created but I clearly added a product and I see it everytime I login to the admin space...

If you can log in to your admin ok then just look in the address bar for a hint of where you need to go for your store. Just replace /admin/index.php with /index.php ( basically removing the admin folder from the path and you should be where you want to be. If that does not work post a link to your iPage site so we can take a look...

We are all presuming that where we have mydomain.com that you are infact replacing this with the name of your domain..

Alright, I do get to a page that has "What's New Here". Is this my store? It does show the one product that I added so it must be. But what is all the stuff in the middle, like "Error Messages", "Editing Page Texts" etc.? They don't belong to the final version of the store. Question is what replaces them and how?..

Yes that is a default store or catalog, whatever you want to call it, it does have the one item that you entered and the store now requires all the modification done to it in order to look the way that you want it to look..

For "Modifications", I have deleted products/categories and have added mine. Products appear on the side but the stuff in the middle remains. What goes in there and how do I edit them out?..

Goto mydomainname.com/catalog.

The default install directory for osC is /catalog..
