Of course! although you might want to make sure and wait for another commenter to confirm my answer as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you email the iPage guys because they can answer you better...
I did what you told me and I think I've done it right....however, when I type in.
, I get the page containing folders on the server and not the actual page....
Any thing i've missed??.
Thanks for your replies..
The server certificate is not for your iPage domain but is your host's shared cert..
Therefore you need to change the https url to match their secure url for your domain. If you are unsure what that url is contact your host's support department...
Ok got that..
Now, I looked at the php file again, and now when I hit checkout I can see it's a secure url, yet it gives me a "page cannot be found" page....
Can you look at it and let me know whats wrong?.
Is your server configured so that you have a separate ssl folder or does it point to your standard folder?.
Also, you really need to add options -index to your root .htaccess file...
To be honest, I am not sure, I do have seen a folder within my server called ssl.....
What you suggest I need to add? I'm sorry, when it comes to servers I am kinda weak....can you kindly give me more info about that?.
If your server is indeed setup to have a separate ssl folder contact your host's support department and ask them to point it to your standard folder...
I have just received my ssl, and need help with adding it to the store. It is stored on my server and all, but I know one of the php files need to be editted..
Please thank you for any help..
Actually two of them..
Change this line.
Define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?.
Define('ENABLE_SSL', true); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?.
And fill in the path in your https: defines to match your certificate...
