My question is Can Someone Give me a better iPage web host? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another question... Hello,.

When hooking up OsCommerce with PayPal where do I input my PAYPAL Account information. Like if my paypal account is how do I get OsCommerce point to that, I checked through the Payment Module but it only lists my company name rather than my account, Im not sure how to do this right..

Also I'm planning to install PayPal IM Contribution..

Yep, but... you might want to make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am not very confident. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can give you an answer better...

Great thanks I'll try to get the IPN contrib to work right now. As well I'm wondering, when someone does order something, am I notified by email by oscommerce about the order...

I've installed PayPal (IPN) succesfully..


I'm having a small problem with recieving the payments in Canadian funds when checking out..

This is the problem -> In ADMIN section -> Payment Module - If I set it to - ONLY CAD payments when I checkout -> The user has to input an $$$ amount ( which I want to avoid).

When I set it to DEFAULT -> When I checkout the $$$ amount is there - but in USD..

Currency: U.S. Dollars.

My paypal is set to CAD.

And my iPage website is set to CAD..

Not sure what's going on -> Anyone encounter this problem?..

Not sure this is the answer but have you changed the default currency in includes/languages/english.php ?

Yes, my default currency is CAD -> I've changed the default currency in includes/languages/english.php from USD to CAD but it didn't fix the problem...

AHHHH I Just figured out my problem - code for CAD was CAN.. changed it to CAD and it worked..

Also I'm not sure if the PAYPAL contrib does this automatically, but I don't recieve the page with the confirmation CODE to input - sometimes it appears sometimes it doesn't..

Where it generates a number for the customer to input to -> minimize fraud..

Why doesn't this pop up for me, but if you look above this post -> I get that where you have to signup for paypal to actually pay....

This is from the > popup_paypal.php.

That comes with the PAYPAL Contrib....

I believe you have to choose to accept payments from non-members in your paypal account settings...

No. At this time the PayPal Account Optional feature is only available to U.S. Business and Premier Accounts. However, this feature is available to you as a buyer, if your merchant selects this option..

Do I need a PayPal Account to pay my seller?.

No. If your seller has the PayPal Account Optional feature turned on,you will not be required to create a PayPal Account to complete a purchase. Note:The PayPal Account Optional feature is only available to U.S. Business/Premier Account holders, and is only available to the off-eBay market at this time..

Meaning Canadian Business accounts do not have the option to do so??.

Or do I have to upgrade to a Premier account?.
