Can someone please point me to a free iPage web host?

My 1st question is: Can someone please point me to a free iPage web host? Many thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. I haven't made any changes to my oscommerce iPage site for 3 months, but suddenly, 3 days ago, the index.php file simply won't load. I don't receive any error messages, just a page loading reminder on the status bar and it never loads. I can backdoor in the iPage site from other links, it's just on the index page that the problem exists. There is nothing in my error logs either..

My ISP says it may be an htacess problem, but I don't know, I use that file out of the box. Anyone have any idea what may be causing the problem and how to debug it?.

Thanks.

Vin.

Ye, however you might want to make sure and wait for someone else here to confirm this as I am on the fence. Better yet, why don't you call the iPage guys because they can answer your iPage question better...

I will have to turn it off shortly because it is causing ISP problems.

When people access it. But any help would be appreciated..

As I mentioned, most of the iPage site loads, except for the index page. For example,.

If you went to.

The page loads, but try to get back to the storefront, and nothing..

Thanx.

You may want to check your server access and error log files, to see what is going on. perhaps the permissions on index.php are set such that no one can access it?..

I agree with your isp. It probably is a .htaccess file issue. If you can back it up, and post it here for us to look at it..

I've had a simular issue a few days agp..

Here is the htaccess file. It's just OSC out of the box. There is NOTHING happening in my error logs. Any ideas?..

Browse to your index page so that is is stuck loading..

Then, telnet into your server, and at the command line type....

Ps -efx | grep catalog.

This should show you if your cart has any runaway scripts going...

Actually, I've tracked the problem down to products_new.php.

Since it is included in index.php, the home page wouldn't open up until.

I removed the references to products_new.

Now I have to figure out why products_new.php won't load...

One thing I noticed is that if there is a category with 1 or 2 products, I can open up the category and show the items. If there are more than 4, it gets stuck. Anyone have a clue?..
