Yep, however you might wanna make sure and wait for another person to confirm this as I am unsure. Better yet, why don't you contact the iPage guys because they can answer you better...
First: dont use the admin file manager to edit.
Keep a copy of your files on your computer edit them then upload them to your server..
The file manager tends to remove some \.
So when you write let's say that's, you would have to write let\'s say that\'s.
I believe it would be the .html that is wrapped in .php I mean what I am trying to change mostly is the text, that comes "stock" on that first page!.
The bear: I will do that....
I know what you "intend" to change,.
But are you inadvertaly removing the php code that is required for the cart to function, that is in that file..
Well this is a fresh start, but what I mean I want to change it this....
Like where is says "whats new here" and where it says this is the deafault setup of osCommerce and below!.

You change your welcome page in catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php..

Ok this is what I have at line 79 in my english.php file:.
Define('BOX_HEADING_WHATS_NEW', 'New @ Spazz');.
Please note: you must leave everything before the comma and make sure you have a semicolon at the end..
Hope this helps..
Make sure your not using colons.
And if you r put slash in front like tis:.
I understand how to setup the store add items, payment, shipping etc....
But I don't get how to change what that first welcome page says. It's says you edit index.php under the.
Store / includes / languages / english /.
But when ever I go to edit the code it gets all messed up even if I just remove a word or two.
Well what are you tring to remove?.
The php code or the html that is wrapped in php?..
