Got a question... Can you customize iPage pre-built website templates? Looking forward for any comment. Second question of mine... I have had our store running for a number of months with no major problems but now it has stopped putting the credit card information on the orders. What's going on? I have tried using the credit card test number and my own credit card number and they don't show up on the order form. Please help, this is not good for business!!!..

You betcha! however you might want to make sure and wait for another person to confirm it as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you contact the iPage guys because they can give you help better...

That's pretty irresponsible on your part!.

How would you feel if you gave your credit card to someone and they stored it but didn't know where?.

They are not stored anywhere that they should be, that's the problem. If they were being stored in the MySQL table like they are supposed to be this wouldn't be a big deal. Hence, "I don't know where they are if anywhere." Which is why I'm asking for help not rude replies made from ignorant assumptions. Thanks anyway...

Sorry, that was perhaps a bit harsh. It's been a very long day...

That's a new one for me..

I've never seen a version of osC that stored complete credit card info in the db..

Is that some modded version?.

Edit:.

Wait a second... Are you using a gateway, a processor? Or are you processing off-line?.

We enter them manually. It's a bit more time consuming but ended up costing us a lot less...

It seems I am not alone in the credit card malfunction. Thank you to Marg for directing me to a forum discussion which seems to have the answer to my problem. Since other osCommerce users have had the same problem and it is likely to become more widespread I will put the address of the forum discussion dealing with it below. The solution posted by apha on the first page of the discussion seems to be the answer. I asked my server administrator to implement it and it was immediately effective. It will take a little time to be sure but it certainly seems to have done the job.

I don't know where they are if anywhere. I just know that up until now they have been showing up on the order forms as below.

Payment Method: Credit Card.

Credit Card Type: American Express.

Credit Card Owner: Humpty Dumpty.

Credit Card Number: 839020984928235.

Credit Card Expires: 1007.

But now all that shows up is.

Payment Method: Credit Card..
