First of all Can you put videos on a free iPage site? Many thanks for any answer. My 2nd question... Warning: session_save_path(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/usr/local/pem/vhosts/142178) in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/142178/webspace/httpdocs/tampapunks.com/Exit_48/catalog/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 118.

I have this error at the top of my iPage site and I cant seem to figure it out. If anyone has any ideas please let me know...

The answer is Yes, although you might want to make sure and wait for another member here to confirm this as I am not sure. Better yet, why don't you ask the iPage guys because they can give you an answer better...

I figured it out. Thank you very much for your help anyway...

What was the fix..

Generally removing / from /tmp also on times fixes it..

Oddly enough I followed the error to the line that the message described and removed the line and re-entered it exactly like it was and for some reason it took it. I dont know where the actual error was because I didnt change anything but it seems to be fixed. I no loner have an error message on the index page nor do I have any new ones. I am stumped but hey, at least it works...

Try to change the last line (normally the last) of the configure.php to:.

Define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');.
