Steve, How do you change the number of new products displayed in NEW PRODUCTS?.

And do you know where can NEW PRODUCTS be renamed to something else?.

Thanks!..

Comment #2

Rename new products in catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php.

Define('TABLE_HEADING_NEW_PRODUCTS', 'New Products For %s');.

And the number of products is controlled from the admin left hand menu under configuration and maximum values, new products module..

Comment #3

How do you change new products to show only specials?..

Comment #4

By adding.

And s.status = '1'.

In to the database query in the catalog/includes/modules/new_products.php..

Comment #5

Is it possible to make the "new products for month XXX" box an infobox in column_right?..

It is the new products box catalog/index.php.

Catalog/index.php.

Try looking for this around line 121 (for new products).

<td><?php include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?></td>.

Change to this.

<td><?php //include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?></td>.

This around line 280 (for product list).

<td><?php include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING); ?></td>.

Change to this.

<td><?php //include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_PRODUCT_LISTING); ?></td>.

This around line 313 (for new products).

<td><?php include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?></td>.

Change to this.

<td><?php //include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_NEW_PRODUCTS); ?></td>.

This around line 316 ( for upcoming products).

<?php.

   include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS);.

?>.

Change to this.

<?php.

  // include(DIR_WS_MODULESFILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS);.

?>..
