My 1st question is: Did you actaully lose weight on Nutrisystem? Hoping for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Forgive the intrusion......

I was thinking of giving hubby a golf range finder..

They are either $30 or $300+!!! No in between..

Has anyone used the less expensive type and are they worth it?.

Any better suggestions?.

Also, forgive if you've already seen a very similar post in OT - it was suggested I might get more input here in your men's club...

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

The $30 arent good at all really. Anything Bushnell with the pinseeker technology works great. Those are around the $300. Any avid golfer will love it. If your looking to save money, ebay is always an option...

Bear - appreciate the heads up and agree about what tools are permitted. But isn't there a place in the world for a practice round where chosing the right club and working your swing for that club is worthwhile?..

Instead of the range finder, let me recommend a GPS unit. As you can tell by my name, I am an avid golfer. I have both and the GPS is far better. I would recommend golf logic (.

, heavy duty and simple). you do have to pay an annual fee of $50, but this thing is great. The alternative brand which is the one that is advertisedd everywhere has several models (Sky Caddie). These units are accepted everywhere and are USGA allowed. You can buy the Sky Caddie just about anywhere golf products are sold or go online...

Good recommendation. I have a Sky Caddie as well as the Bushnell. They work great together. GPS is quicker. but knowing exactly where that flag is, is something I like as well...

I never got a good lock on the flag, but my biggest problem was that I play very hilly courses. Most of the time, I can't see the flag!..

Gotcha. i'm on flat courses. Hilly courses, GPS all the way...

And from where I play from (usually from behind a tree) you can't see the pin..

I have a Skycaddie but look at the GolfLogix devices with envy..

Thelma: I agree with Bear regarding the lessons. No matter who you are you still need to work on something. And feel at ease to invade the Men's Room whenever you want to talk golf!..
