Got a quick question: Do they make something like nutri-system or Nutrisystem but...? Thanks in advance for any response. Another question on my mind: I just saw on the "Ask the Moderator" forum where the Nutrisystem Scrambled Eggs are being discontinued. I inherited a bunch of these from my mother who quit NutriSystem and now they just sit in my cabinet because I think they are disgusting. If you want them, send me a PM and we'll work SOMETHING out...

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could help you..

All Whites egg whites are only 30 calories per serving. Just pour it in a pan an heat them up. Or you can actually pour it into a shake. There's no taste or smell...

Speaking of eggs....... remember when a big plate of fried eggs and saugage with biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns was the norm??????? Don't even sound good anymore........

Scrambled eggs were the only breakfast I liked. Looks like it's 14 Choco Chip Scones and 14 Apple Scones for me...

Funny thing, for me, all the grease involved in that type of food makes my stomach hurt. I can't believe how different I feel now compared to just a month and a half ago. I no longer have heart burn, don't feel like I have to crap all the time, and have double the energy I had. I don't think I want to go back to where I came from......

Thanks for the positive feed back. I came to that conclusion the other day watching the boob tube... There was an advertizment for a breakfast deal, and it just did not do anything for me...... A MIRACLE!!!!!..

I don't know, but the scrambled eggs remind me of the army days. Powder water and some heat and before you know it, you've got eggs! I still like them!..

I was in the Army in the early '80s when they were making the transition from C-Rations to MREs, which were not much better then. Now, I understand the MREs are really good, similar to Nutrisystem foods. There was a time back in the old days when C-Rations came with cigarettes and condoms. All you needed was a p-38. The can opener not the plane...

I was in from 82-86, same thing here. We were also the last unit that had to go through basic training in full gear boots and camo pants for PT. While we were still training, incoming units were running in tennis shoes...bunch of pussies..

LOL That reminded me that it was at that same time they were making a transition from ".

OG 107.

" (OliveGreen) BDU to the more familiar Camo Woodland Pattern. It didn't take long until that too went out in favor for Desert pattern in '89...

Biggest thing for me was the other day the wife was cooking up some bacon. I love (loved? bacon), but the smell of all that grease was nauseating...

Still carry a P-38 on my key ring today. Was in around 93-94. Still had C-Rats a few times. But for the most part was MREs. Right as I left they were just starting to get the heaters in the MREs. But for the most part it was cold MREs. Fun stuff...

Never had the opportunity to serve in Military.... Just wandering, reckon was the c-rats left over from WWII ????..

It's called a p-38? We always called them a John Wayne..

The good ol' days of opening a can to get to two other cans, gotta love it...

Have you tried peameal bacon, also known as Canadian or back bacon? It is much leaner and lower in sodium. Best way to cook it is popping it in the oven and drizzle with maple syrup before serving. Yes, 20 calories worth of syrup goes a long way!..

I second it. I still eat bacon, but it's only 2 strips period. 2 slices is 109 calories and that's just 10 minutes of moderate cardio to burn off...

Ah but regular bacon is actually better for you. Cholesterol and sodium is higher in almost all turkey bacon..

I think that's part of what the issue is - I've been doing veggie substitutes (Morningstar/Bocca/etc) for breakfast, so it's been about 8 months or so since I've seen real bacon (even turkey). On the upside now though, the local farmer's market has started up again and they do have some excellent local meats - so it may be time to wander over and see what I can find...
