That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I find an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Chris, will that affect my pr? (when I get some that is).
One of the considerations for PR is number of inbound links vs. number of outbound links. So, if you have only a few inbound links, but a great many outbound links, then that will adversly affect your PR..
What the link are to, though, will not affect your PR, IMO...
Googlebot pays a visit every day but never seems to get to the links page, or am I trying to rush things abit!.
Googlebot has not done a deep crawl on my iPage site yet, do you think that is why google shows no links to my iPage site when I do.
Looks like Google just recently cashed alot of stuff from your store on Aug 26, so I'd say they're getting there..
Keep in mind that it can take up to 3 full months for Google to fully transverse all of your pages...
I am using the links manager contrib, however I have one question..
When I run a spider sim on my links page this is what I get for example.
Now what I would like to know is, can googlebot or any other spider recognise these links as links?????.
If not how can I make the links visible to spiders??.
Yes, Search Engines recognize them as links. Not sure though, if the target URL gets full PR credit for the link though...
