My question is Does all Nutrisystem food need to be microwaved? Hoping for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Tomorrow will be a week for me being on NS. Now that I'm beginning to accept that this is a life change and not just a diet, I'm trying to determine why I eat so much... I think I'm addicted to good food... Once I taste and like it, I gotta have it all..

Will I really be able to cut a real good juicy burger in half and be satisfied? I know right now, I'm no where near ready for that... All in time right? Or maybe it's what I eat leading up to the Burger, or what I do after? At least I have lots of time to figure out...

Yep, but you might wanna make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the Nutrisystem guys because they can answer your Nutrisystem question better...

How right you are smitty, each day is a journey and each day I learn something new about why I eat. And I've finally realized that 9 out of 10 reasons have nothing to do with hunger at all! I do love good food, and am already obsessing on what I'm going to get NEXT Saturday when I go out to eat for my anniversary..

Hang in there, use these boards, and feel great about the progress that you make! If something looks better on you, be proud! If all the suddeny our jeans aren't causing your belly to bruise, be proud! Use your own success, no matter how big or little, as motivation..

I also find the use of the tickers to be fun and helpful. I use them for all kinds of stuff, (see below for my newest goals for this week)...

There have many other benefits for me besides losing weight. Such as:.

1. Better quality of sleep.

2. No more acid reflux.

3. No more heartburn.

4. No more dozing off in the middle of the day.

5. Increased energy (highly increased).

Maybe if you experience some of the same things, you'll see that there is far more involved in a healthier lifestyle than just food...

Congrats on your first week, Smitty! Your quandry is one we've all got to address some day. At least with Nutrisystem experience, we'll know what a rational meal should look like..

I see your point.... my health hazard is high blood pressure, so the more weight I loose the less likely I have to take blood pressure medication.....

Yes.... congrats... My anniversary was last Saturday and it was a little strange that we didn't celebrate it with a nice meal.... Mother's day also... It's funny how we allow special days to revolve around food.....

If you find the answer to why we eat so much.......PLEASE let us all know!!!! We're all here for a reason!..

Gordon point about knowing what rational meal looks like as at the heart of this journey. When you come out the other side you should be more disciplined in your eating habits and your portion sizes. One of my biggest problems was that felt I needed to eat in proportion to my hunger, the more hungry I was the more I felt I need to eat. The old "I'm so hungry I can eat a horse" outlook. And for me that "horse" was usually a very high calorie meal. I found that when I'm I'm very hungry I can eat a meal a lot lower in calories but be just as satisfied...
