Got a question, hope someone can answer... Does any one here like Nutrisystem, Nutrasysem, or LA Weightloss? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another question on my mind: Honestly, I vowed to never buy clothes until I reached my goal weight..

Now that I am shorter (yes, fat lost from the bottom of my feet) and slimmer all of my clothes were beginning to drape off me in a way that belts and safety pins couldn't help any longer..

All of my pants are, excuse me... were, 46" waist with a 32 inch inseam..

I went in and tried on pants... 40" ... too big..

38" ... snug but wearable..

Inseam? 30 inches!.

8 inches lost since I started???? WOO HOO!!!!.

Thank goodness for Walmart and $9 pants... lol...

If you have a Burlington Coat Factory near you, you can find some decent transitional slacks there...

I dont know if you guys have them in your area, but we have several good resale shops here in Chattanooga TN. I have been able to find several gently worn designer pants for around $5 a pair. I dont really care if they are used seeing that they are going to be those between sizes. You know that sizes between your starting weight and your goal. I would recommend checking them out. Who knows what deals you would find?..

I know this is the "mens" forum, but I have to butt in! :P.

CONGRATS! I bet that makes you feel so great!!!!!!!! I think I am due for cheapo pants too. They barely hang off my hips anymore LOL..

I'm built weird, at 291 (now 284!.

) I wore 40 relaxed x 30 pants and they're practically falling off. I'm going to put up with them until I get down to 265-270 and see if I can squeeze back into 38s and buy some cheap. Which is no big deal since I dress cheap 95% of the time anyhow. I figure 38s will tie me over until I start seeing 230-218 and then maybe I can shoot for 36s again. Man, that will feel like a big trip backwards in time. Can hardly wait!..

If you are looking for casual clothes - check Salvation Army...

This is my day 2, so new (smaller) clothes are still a ways off...but for any of you who have lost weight...are you keeping your old clothes; just in case?..

Just in case what???.

I personally don't ever plan to allow myself to get this heavy again. I'm going to keep a few items (a pair of jeans, a shirt, a coat) so I have some comparison items to remind me how big I was... But for me, thats in the past. I'm only about to finish my first month, but this is easy and I can easily see living this way from now own (the times I've eaten out, I'm finding it much easier now to make better choices and push away half or more of what was served)..

I know that when I reach goal I won't be done (or I'll be back to this point again) and I know it's not going to be "easy" to maintain if I don't learn from my journey to goal, but right now, I've got the mindset of where I'm heading, how I'm getting there, and plan on holding onto that when I do reach goal. So I won't be keeping my clothes as I lose the weight (and thats partly incentive to my cheap butt not to gain weight back and have to buy larger sizes)...

Cousin of Wal-Mart.

Sams Club has had $7 cargo pants and $8 polos :-)..

Bro, would you like it if your new girlfriend/wife kept her old flame's number "just in case" things didn't work out with you? You know thw answer. Get rid of all the fat stuff except a suit or pair of pants. Those you can save for one of those impactful transformation photos or just to show yourself how much smaller you have gotten. Give the rest of the stuff to Goodwill, Savers or some other second hand outfit...

No I donate my old clothes so I can't go back. I don't want to have excuses laying around. That said I did keep some t-shirts with sentimental value that I might have converted into Pillows or something. Plus when I put them on I can pretend I shrunk over night...
