First question I have is Does anybody have a meal plan to the Medifast Diet? Many thanks for any answer or 2. 2nd question I got is.. Other topics will be discussed that may not be appropriate for the easily offended..

Please discontinue reading Tough Love threads if they are going to cause you to become upset..

Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

8. Be honest with ourselves and our Medifast family and to stay 100% OP at all times. We also swear that WHEN (not if) we are having a tough time and feel like we may eat SLUDGE, to come to our Medifast family first and ask for support and help to get us through the struggle..

You betcha! although you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else to confirm my answer as I am not completely sure. Better yet, why don't you call the Medifast guys because they can give you help better...

Good morning, MT! Thanks for the coffee this morning. Very much needed. Great goal idea, not just for the weekend, but every day!.

I can't believe we're getting MORE snow right now. I'd hoped to bounce out of bed, all happy that it's Friday... I'm happy it's Friday, but I'm SO not bouncing...

Morning MT and Penny (and whoever else sneaks in).

Sorry you all are still having bad weather, it's 75 with thundestorms here and we're hoping to go to the beach on Sunday.

Today is basically Anna needs to be patient day... still no flight information, close of business is 3 hours from now over there.. and my tax refund was due today but now says next week.. (that I'm not shocked about since all of us with certain things got sent through together.... I really didn't think it'd happen today).

I think I might go buy a spaghetti squash and have that and meatballs (that I make) for dinner. Have a great day everyone!!!!..

Morning TL'ers!.

MT - thanks for opening up shop this morning and putting the coffee on. I'm lovin me some coffee this morning..

I always seem to be about the last one to post at night and since we start a new thread every morning I'm not sure anyone ever sees it. So I'm copying it here:.

Alucas - everyone has given you very good words of wisdom. I would add that it's important for you not to whine or let him know that you long to drink, or long to drink with him. If you're whining about it in front of him then he won't be convinced that Medifast is a good option. You really have to get yourself in that mindset that it is antifreeze, and you're not INTERESTED in it tonight. You don't have to say that you're quitting drinking forever - you just don't want it right now, and nothing is worth changing how good you feel..

Kiki - I have Meniere's Disease and that comes with some horrible dizzy spells. They don't happen often but I've had two in the last year and a half. The first one sent me to the ER, the second one had me vomiting all over the place. They are just debilitating when they hit. You're probably already well aware of Meclizine - it's an over-the-counter seasickness pill and it works miracles on the dizzy spells. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes to kick in but it is a lifesaver.

I do!.

Penny - Glad you got your Bugg. Hope you enjoy it! And I'm with you on the grab and go..

Kawi - Good for you for checking in so often today. That's the ticket. The support can carry you through the first few days (and way beyond)! You're doing it!.

De - thanks for the clarification. I haven't yet figured out exactly how to say that it is possible for a slip to happen. But you said it best - come here BEFORE going down the wrong path. The "only human" comment wasn't the best strategy. I agree with you 100%.

Freya - You deserve the Snoopy dance and MORE! How long have you been doing MF? I'm so darn proud of you my buttons are popping..

That was it for last night. Today I'm thrilled to report that I can officially claim 40 pounds lost on Medifast in 8 weeks and 1 day. I always get a whoosh the day or two after weigh-in. That's 50 pounds gone total. I'm 241.7 today and my goal weight is 140, so I ALMOST have less than 100 pounds to go. And in only 1.7 pounds my BMI will finally be under 40.

I'm so ready for the 230's I can taste it (literally - that fruity taste in my mouth every morning - LOL)..

Anna - In situations like that I always tell myself - be patient or not -it will happen when it happens. It's hard to wait for "Disneyland" things in life, and the only thing that has ever worked for me is distraction. I think you mentioned needing to clean out a closet or something - go for it!.

I'm hopeful that my Wii "Just Dance 2" will arrive today. If it does, I know what I'll be doing tonight. Super FUN workout!!.

Have a Terrific OP Friday!..

Tracey thanks, I know, I just am obsessively OCD and would never ever wait to buy a plane ticket until 3 days before I need it unless I was headed to funeral..

Also we have the first Just Dance and I love it...

Good morning! I'm ready to tackle day 2! Spending a lot of times on the boards really helped me out yesterday. I'm sure I'll be doing that quite often. It helps motivate me! Yesterday, while I was so hungry I went and looked at the before and after pics! So many amazing stories definitely did the trick!.

Right now I'm enjoying my coffee and quiet. Hubby got up early to make me coffee thinking it would help my headache (which is back this morning)...

Morning, TLers!.

Sorry for the repeated delays, Anna. I know you can't help the anticipation and the disappointment when it doesn't happen on the right schedule is maddening. Gotta love the government, huh? When I was active duty and got orders to Japan, I waited around Camp Pendleton for 6 WEEKS for a seat. You'd think that guys who can make wars happen would be able to plan a little better, wouldn't you? But personnel logistics is not at the top of the list when they're rotating home..

Tkd, you're right! I turn into a pumkin at 9 PM local and never see anything posted later than that unless I think to go back the next day. You're smart to post it both places!.

I never saw much point to the Bodybugg for myself - until this week. Now I'm considering it. I'm struggling with what my real burn is and what I should be eating and all the mental conditioning I've put myself through to stay on my food plan the last couple of years. That said, I think I actually do feel a little better on the higher calories, and oddly enough I seem to be sleeping better too, though I have no idea why. Penny, I'm keeping an eye on your experience to help me decide!.

Morning MT and Kawi! And I think that actually constitutes chopped tofu, if no one else has posted while I was ruminating......

Rain here..

Very odd for February and all the snow is melting...

, the worst part is he is flying home COMMERCIAL.

When he left from here, he did wait around 3 weeks then they called us one night and said, be at Lejeune at 8 am tomorrow (also a commercial flight)..

YAY on 40 lbs!!!1.

, keep going..

Good morning TLers!.

TDK: Congratualtions on -40 lbs in 8 weeks!.

Kiwi: keep blogging and reading the blogs, go to their home Pages as well and take a trip back in time blog-style. It's enlightening , in all ways..

Winter wonderland in IN today. Beautiful view from my window. DH left for his office very early as usual. We'll see how many make it in..

Enjoy your days OP, TLers..

Anna: I am agitated and hopeful every minute with you. God bless you all, Sweetheart..

Mornin'! (she said as she trudged past with eyes half mast and a coffee mug in one hand)...

Happy Friday Peeps!.

Oh am I glad to see this week end. Short weeks can be the worst..

Tracey - WOOT on the 40 lbs!! That's amazing..

Kawii - Caffeine can definitely help with the headaches. Hang in there and they should be gone in a day or 2..

MT - Thanks for getting us started this morning..

Anna - <sigh> Patience is not a word in my vocabulary. I feel your anxiety and am tapping my foot right along with you..

Penny - 198/8/58........

Morning Steph and Beth..

Hoping to get caught up on my filing today. I actually found my desk yesterday! That alone was an accomplishment. Want to get as much done today as I can so I'm not stuck pulling backup over the weekend..

Off to the grind...

Morning Tough Lovers!.

Anna...hope you hear something ASAP! The waiting is the WORST..

Steph...I've always wanted a BodyBugg, but never wanted to part with the money in my pocket enough to buy one. I think it's such a genius little invention though..

I should have known better than to pop in and post in an "I cheated" thread...not for the person who posted it, but because I get so frustrated being surrounded by a pack of enablers. Lesson learned...well, until the next time I forget the lesson and do it again! lol.

I hope everyone is having a splendid Friday...and I see Penny and I are both being hit with SNOW! ( matter how much we get or how much it complicates my life...I LOVE SNOW!).

Thank goodness today's breakfast was MUCH better then yesterday! Yummy chocolate chip pancakes!..

Good morning TL'ers! I'm off today but lots to do, including taxes. Blah. DH wants to go out to eat after & since he knows I won't go off plan for a meal he's letting me pick. I'm leaning towards Red Lobster so I can get haddock or flounder with a salad & steamed veggies. He can eat the evil sludge that comes with the meals. I'm glad he's being supportive as he usually isn't.

Have a great OP day everyone! Thanks again for being so inspirational!.

After 50 minutes in third gear, Im finally here at the office. Ive gone from mildly discontent with the snow to full-on hatred and disgust. Its not even pretty. Die, snow. Die..

Tracey, congratulations on the milestone XL loss! A little play on Roman numerals there..

Steph, I wanted the Body Bugg for exactly that same reason. I spent six nights a week in the gym for almost 5 months and got so strong. I loved my routine. I was increasing my weights almost weekly. But Medifast became more important come January 1. It was a hard decision, but I really needed to lose the weight even if it meant losing some of the muscle Id built.

Now, Im terrified to get back into the gym for fear Ill slow the scale down. I miss it something awful. So Im going to wear this thing for a few days, get a feel for how much Im burning, and crunch some numbers to see what my ideal deficit is. This way, I figure I can get back into the gym, see how much I burn there, and know where my cutoff is so I dont go into a preservation mode. I KNOW how much Im eating.

De, loving those numbers!!!.

My Medifast order is out for delivery right now, so I will have all kinds of choices when I get home! Ive grown to LOVE unpacking and organizing my meals! I have one of those over-the-door shoe storage things hanging on my kitchen door and I love it when it's all full with the front panels of the Medifast boxes labeling each section!..

Good morning TL'ers,.

I am finding it very hard to sleep at night and I have deep body hunger that will not go away no matter how much I drink....I need some feed back. Did you find as you got close to goal that your body hurt more, loss of sleep, ect.? I do not mean to whine, and I am hanging tough, but it feels like a constant battle, and I am having problems with my "inner brat.".

Congrats on all of your losses ladies!..

Sorry about the snow Penny. Gorgeous here. High of 70, blue skies.... Just sayin. I have one of those shoe holders this time around too. Makes life SO much easer..

Just had my first meal. Love me some pancake in a cup!.

Hi Tara..

Sleep issues could be caused from your medication, as could the hunger. When do you take your meds, and when do you go back and get your levels checked again?..

MT_Cup - you make one DELICIOUS cup o'joe - thank you!.

Penny - I'm very curious to see how the body bug works out. Please keep us posted - I have a feeling if I had one I might become obsessed and want to keep going and going (which is not a bad idea - probably the point of them LOL)..

Tracey - wahoo!!! That's FANTASTIC!!!! GO YOU!!!.

Ugh.. it's so gross on the East Coast today. In Warwick, the rain mixed with something and the roads were messy and icey... NYC is another hot mess all together. How is it raining and sleeting in February?! I have a date tonight and this weather is not helping the hair situation... EEK! Thank goodness for Elnet, I may smell like hairspray but if it holds - I'll be a member for life!.

Dherschberg-I have been taking them in the middle of the night, and have noticed hot flashes too. I do feel lots better on the Armour, and my hair loss has stopped, so I think the dose is right. I have to fast and do a test on Monday. Have you experienced sleep issues with Armour at night?..

Happy Friday TLers..

MT - Thanks for brewing my favorite beverage and opening up the curtains in the clubhouse..

Penny - WOW! So sorry you are still dealing with the weather stuff. But just keep that focus on ROCKIN' the night away with your honey come Cruise time, 'k?.

Hershey - So how's that desk look, now that you can see it..

Shelly - OMG it is so hard to remember NOT to try to comment and help folks, isn't it? I'm a thinkin' it is always ok to do so, but as usual be prepared for the backlash, cause people on diets can be so cranky!.

And most are not ready to hear or to do the hard work needed to become well and happy. They want it, they just are not ready..

Oh I had intended to comment a bit more, but my alarm is going off and I have to take MIL to the Dr this morning to check on her spots where they removed some skin cancer awhile back. They are not healing which tells me, I don't think they got it all. UGH..

I'll be home later today, now keep that pot brewing, 'k?..

I can't take mine at night. Because of sleep issues. I also have fibro, so sleep is a real issue for me. You might try taking it in the morning first thing before you do anything else. As long as you give yourself an hour or 2 before ingesting soy, you should be just fine. Maybe a hot coco for a first meal or an Anti-oxidant shake.

When you see him..

As for the hunger, I definitely think the medication has something to do with it. Why? Because this time around I AM HUNGRY!!! Words that have not come out of my mouth in almost 4 years. I feel more energetic than I have in a long time, so I am taking the hunger as a GOOD thing, that tells me maybe my body is functioning more normally for a change. Again, talk to your Dr. about anything that concerns you...

Dherschberg- Thank you, thank you, thank you for the feed back. it makes me feel a whole lot stronger, and more resilient. I will try taking them later as you suggested. It is true for me as well that since I switched, I am starving! It is really annoying..

Chatty-taking people back and forth to the doctor is no fun. I hear you. I hope your MIL is ok....hope you have a good day!.

Shelly-You are right about enabling. Since behavior is social and learned, we are learning through this process. If we all constantly ok slip ups, where would we be except demoralized?!? I am so glad for this thread. It helps me live up to my own standard!.

Music Gal- Sorry for the ugly weather. this year has been really odd....I think all throughout the States..

HI to everyone else!.

I'm having a great TGIF..

I refused to buy the next size up in pants when I realized I needed it, so I've been rotating 4 pairs of pants that are big enough because I used to wear them as baggy jeans on purpose..

This morning, when I was getting ready for work, I opened up my drawer of jeans and pulled a pair out that I knew were the biggest of the ones I'd outgrown. Last time I tried, I could not get them past my thighs..

I'm wearing them right now!.

They're definitely snug, and I have a hearty muffin top, but I got them on, and I couldn't just 9 days ago. Yet more motivation to stay on plan all the time. This is exciting..

I also bothered to do my makeup and wear jewelry today, something I haven't done in a while. People at work have already commented on it, because I've been very plain jane for a while now...

Morning all. Sitting here trying to warm up from one of the coldest, wettest, windiest dog walks ever (at least for where I live). My pack of three labs doesn't care, but it was an absolute misery. Unfortunately, if they don't get a little exercise they'll start chewing on the couch, so off we went. The morning is now being devoted to huddling in front of my space heater and looking out the window to see when the rain turns to snow. It only snows here once every couple of years, so it's a big deal for us..

The boards do seem especially enabley these days. (Is that a word?) Personally I think it's all the New Year's Resolution folks, whose commitment was fairly half-***ed to begin with, making each other feel better. They'll wander off soon, only to be replaced by the "Oh my god, it's bathing suit season" people. I love reading this thread every day so that I can get my fix of truly committed MF'ers...

This looks like the measurements for a really oddly shaped lady.

Good morning all! I'm gearing up for a really busy weekend. My student's annual workshop all day today and tomorrow. Party Saturday night. Coffee date with internet man #2 on Sunday. I'll be so stinking busy that I won't even be able to think about SLUDGE all weekend!..

When you have time, please check out Justpraisin's blog today. It's really helpful..

I do go to the blogs alot. I am finding a lot of successes with all the relatively Newbies..

Sunshine here and up to 34 degrees. Snow is meling/falling off the trees as I type..

A-girl: Jean's NSV! whoohoo!.

GO, SASSY GO!!!! How exciting!!! You're gonna be so busy, you'll be beating them off with a stick... and if none are handy, grab yourself some old MFin pretzels..

My office is doing everyone a "favor" by ordering a huge SLUDGE lunch so no one has to go out. I'm so glad I have my own food. Strawberry shake for lunch today..

It still hasn't stopped snowing here. It's actually snowing sideways. We have already gotten at least 6 inches out there. Blah. The drive home is going to be lots of fun..

I can't wait to start using my BodyBugg, but I'm going to have to. It's going to cost me $80 for my first 6 months of the online service. Not in the budget this week...

Ive seen a couple people reposting their posts from the night before do you think we could agree not to do that to keep the volume down a little? I know I, and a lot of others, do check in on the day befores thread in the morning Just a thought..

Anna: hang in there! Sorry about the need for patience. Hope he gets that ticket soon!.

Clairejune: check my signature I had to switch back to 4&2 as I neared goal. As I had done 6 full months on 5&1, it's not like I couldnt handle that. But I just became too active, and my body was getting too spent and crashing out, with the cant get warm thing. Its been a lot better on 4&2. I can still overdo it, but it's much harder. (And after I wrote this I saw the medication discussion, so ignore me if the above isnt relevant.).

Anonygirl: yay for getting all girled up!.

As for me, good morning! At work, gettin' stuffz dun. Have plans tonight to have dinner with friends and then see a raunchy burlesque show - it's called "That's F'ed Up 2" and they're not sure whether this year's show will involve vomit or not. So basically I have NO idea what I'm in for, but like half of Seattle is going and people who went last year said it was amazing. I will tell you this - I'm not wearing anything that's not machine washable...

Morning all!.

Sun is shining. Time to go clean the pool and take the dogs to be washed. One has a habit of chewing on the other so they get pretty gnarly..

Hope everyone has a great day and drinks their water!..

Morning all! I woke up this morning with a splitting headache... spent almost an hour in a state of twilight sleep where I knew I needed to take my migraine medicine but I couldn't wake up enough to go get it... then I'd fall asleep, wake up, and not know if I'd taken it or not... oh blah! By the time I actually woke up enough to come to an upright position, the headache wasn't horrible, but I puttered up enough to go take my pills. It's always a debate as to whether I should take it, because the side effects (tight tight neck and shoulders) are sometimes worse than the headache..

Anyway, that's how my morning started... I feel kind of better now but still blah..

Yesterday when I was trying to sit down to study, I couldn't help but notice how pretty it was outside, which led me to an impromptu trip to Target to buy some chairs and a small table for the balcony. Those are still in the car, because DH didn't respond to my "is it okay if I use our Target gift cards from our wedding shower to buy these?" text until hours after I had completed the purchase..

Tonight I will be going to a banquet to honor recipients of my hospital system's nursing clinical ladder program. I am keeping my fingers crossed for the availability of good clean foodI'm saving my L&G for dinner. If not, well, I'll be disappointed because I'll have to eat my L&G for my very LAST meal, instead of my brownie. Oh well!.

I will.

Get over it..

Annacount me in with those tapping my foot impatiently along with you for some useful information!..

Overslept this morning - missed you for mt morning coffee & wakup - NO TIME!! I'm going to catch up & read while I have my lunch......

Whew!! All caught up and nobody posted while I was reading - a MIRACLE!! But my lunch hour's done (and then some, no doubt), so no chopped tofu from me. Just one for Anna.....

Have a great TGIFriday, everyone!!!..

Thanks to all of you for your commisseration; I still haven't heard a word. He usually gets on line in the next hour so hopefully he'll know something...

Another 50 minute white-knuckle ride home! The snow plow guy had to push me out of my LEVEL parking spot. My car sucks balls in the snow. Then I got stuck coming out of the gas station. I had to just get my front wheels onto the clear tire tracks on the road and nobody would let me. Deee-ocks. Then as I was taking the less-hilly shortcut, I started sliding sideways and all the snow from the top of my car slid onto my windshield, covering it completely.

But I made it home in one piece. My awesome neighbors have the whole sidewalk and all the parking spots shoveled and cleared..

And MY ORDER IS HERE! I just destroyed a bag of chili nacho cheese puffs and I am one happy MFer. Now I'm gonna make a ring...

Penny I'm so glad your'e ok, that had to be scary...

So far, so good on day 2. Time for a shake so I thought I'd come look at the tickers and pictures!..

Penny! Dang! Glad you're home safely and have some new munchies. Do me a favor and spend the rest of the day making jewelry, 'K?..

Yikes! Scary! Glad you're save and warm now!.

Still laughing at "My car sucks balls in the snow." You crack me up!..

Wow, Penny, that sounds horrible. Just plain awful. I do not think I could live where you do..

So glad you're home safe!..

Penny, glad you are okay! Just wanted to drop by to tell you that I love your signature:.

The pain of discipline or the pain of regret... it's your choice..

So far, I choose dicipline (3rd week OP)..

Hello TL'ers!.

I have been around here for about 6 months and ALWAYS read your thread, but have never had the nerve to join in. I have to say, I started this program 100% OP and then I thought I had it "under control". I knew what worked-MF worked; but in my mind I also thought I knew how I could tweak things and still continue with my losses! Well, come to my surprise, things started to happen like GEEZ! I gained 2.5 pounds this week...gee I have not lost anything in 3 weeks. I wondered why this is happening (scratching head)??.

My goodness, it does not take a freaking rocket scientist to figure it out....I was now on MY PLAN not on MF. Chickie encouraged me to come on over and even though I was no longer on MY PLAN; this can be a daunting crowd. Everyone always has so many insightful, encouraging and many time humorous things to say around here. I unfortunately have not used my writing skills on a daily basis since ummm High School, so a lot of times I feel like all I have to say is "UG, down .5 for the week, UG, UG" (while hitting my caveman stick on the floor).

Now that I have rambled on.....

I have been 100% for the last month, and I KNOW the only way for me to do this plan is 100%. Also I am getting pretty darn close to T&M and I know that is going to be much more difficult than 5 and 1 so I need to be seriously disciplined for that to work..

I need more than ever to be a part of a group that has a no nonsense approach to the Medifast plan. I am going to finish off these last 10 pounds the only way that works for me and that is 100% OP..

P.S. I find it VERY FUNNY that you can write "sucks balls" and that does not get censored out, but D I ck Van D yke does! Tehe...

Freya.....sorry I missed this. Its been so hectic here. CONGRATS on making goal! Woo hoo!..

Penny, glad you got home OK. We got it all as rain...and it was a lot of rain. I can only imagine how much snow you got...

Tracking food on an Android phone? I think I would like to abandon the Medifast food tracker, which I understand is hard/impossible to use on a phone, in favor of something designed for a phone. I have blown off logging my food the last few weeks, but for T&M I need to do it for sure while I sort things out..

Any suggestions?..

Hi all. Don't post much, but always read this thread. Love it here!!!.

That being said......

I am down 44.2 pounds (still lots to go), but decided today was the day to try everything in the closet on and toss it or Goodwill it. I have a huge stack for Goodwill. That should be totally exciting, but somehow I got a little depressed. I guess because I'm still fat. But I sat there looking at the clothes I was getting rid of. Seems like I would find something that fit and then buy one in every color.

My skin is loose and saggy, but....not as saggy as my panties or my boobs. That made me laugh. I guess I need to go buy new bras and panties tomorrow. Anyway, I just wanted to share and vent since that is a better thing to do than eat..

Have a great weekend everyone!!.

I've actually had fairly good luck with using the Medifast tracker on my Android phone. The built-in browser does a pretty good job at adapting it into something helpful. That said, it's still difficult to search for, find, and select foods that aren't already somewhere in your Medifast meals or private foods tabs..

I know Sparkpeople has a food tracker appI've used it in the past but it's been a good long while. Browse the Market for it, I don't recall being infuriated by it... and that's a real-food diet program, too, so it should be fairly T&M friendly...

Get the daily plate app and log there. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. it works...

Anyone have fun plans for the weekend? None for me...

Darn it. Daily Plate only supports Blackberry, not general Android. Poop...

Welcome Katherine! Jump in. The water's fine. "Ug, Ug" that cracked me up!.

Cara - don't forget there's a clothing exchange thread on the Medifast boards. Might be someone just waiting to get your hand-me-downs. Got any 20's? (sounds like a game of "go fish")..

Freya - I did Sparkpeople for years, and have tried to use all types of food trackers but by far and away the best IMO is the "My Plate" tracker on They have everything - even brand names and restaurants, and they have the logo of the brand beside the items so it is easy to spot. Many are also marked "verified" (by Livestrong), and they have a great App. Check em all out and see which you like best..

Definitely won't re-post. I may just stop posting late in the evening. I can get caught up in the mornings..

Waving to everyone.

Anna - hope you've heard by now..

After lurking in the shadows for 7 weeks, I have something to contribute. I am so into this Medifast thing I log my meals in both MyMF and I have a Droid. I can log onto FS in my computer or my phone and there is also a "sync" so you can download to your phone. Hope this works for you. Oh, yeah...CONTRATULATIONS!!.

Thank you, everyone! Spark People is downloading, so I'll try that one and see if it makes me want to kill myself or not..

TKD: don't stop posting at night! If everyone does that who will I talk to after the east coasters have toddled off to bed???..

Wow! More new faces. No way I'm ever going to keep track of everyone!!.

Rachel - The Medifast food logger and t&m are not a good combo. Outside programs like TDP are much more user friendly and have extensive food data bases..

Freya - Another to try is

Welcome to the new faces..

Still no word, although he does have actual orders, so that's good. And they say he's leaving Kuwait on March 1, not anything else but that they say..

I decided to blog about patience to help kill my time!.

MY kale chips are fabulous, I just need to make smaller pieces next time b/c I like the smaller ones better. My homemade meatballs are in the oven too..

I also like Livestrong, it has far more foods in it than fitday...

I think I'm going to try the Medifast chili for dinner. Any suggestions or tips?..

I'm mountain time so I'm happy to talk at night. Just let me know when and I'll make sure I'm around. Yesterday and today I've had the tab open all day. I have to stay focused!..

Uh, YEAH! Soak it 2 hours if you can, or at least 1 hour at a minimum. The TVP and kidney beans have a tendency to be a little... crunchy... otherwise. Add some beef bouillon and seasoned salt, maybe a little hot sauce. I make all the soups with WAY more water than recommended..

And the most important advice for Medifast food: if you hate it, set it aside a month and try it again. Taste buds change a LOT...

I found a bathing suit I really liked and am using that for my pic and for motivation! I haven't worn a bathing suit in SO long. I'm freakin' sick of not having fun...

The above is a direct result of quite literal children and off shore resources doing the censoring...

Most of us Vets use Livestrong over on The Daily Plate..

It even has all the Medifast foods and is really cool site...

Hey chick-a-dee.

I just wanted you to know I've been on my knees for you guys lately..

Hugs and biggest Muah!..

I wish! It only supports Blackberry and iPhone. Not my generic Android...

Livestrong just announced one of their Apps is now available for Android. It's called Calorie Tracker. It's not free...and I won't use any App that's not free, but that's the App associated with Livestrong and TDP. I use my Droid and log my food using the browser and log onto livestrong from there..

I basically live in the same area as we got buckets of snow. Like car would not move out of my parking spot. I had to shovel in front of it...and then have the maintenance guy plow in front of me. It was a bear. My tires are crapola and I was the idiot who did not put my snow tires on..

I got out of the parking lot and had some time to kill until my eye appt at I went to the gym. With the storm...there were literally 4 people in the gym. It was hilarious..

Hugs all....

I was just gonna post this about the Droid..

Oh and I decided to blog again today. I had stopped by Bloggsville to read a few friends stuff and I noticed a trend going on..

People seem so fearful. So I was prompted to share some thoughts I had and some ways I worked thru them with the help my MFers and of course the Tough Love of the Rogues back in the Day..

Hugs folks..

Oh and the.

Bundles are 25 weeks and doing well...

Hooray for pink bundles!!!! So glad to hear this!..

Thanks Freya, we are enjoying every day that God keeps those babies on the inside. It is the best gift my DD can give her babies right now. I keep telling her to just rest and enjoy the down time, cause once those Twin girls arrive, no one will say, "Oh, just go lay down a few days and let us take care of things!" Nope ain't gonna happen...

Drive by HI!!.

Packing for the lake and hoping it's warm this weekend. Sorry to hear you guys in the frozen NE are having so much trouble..

Penny - love the jewelry!.

Freya - if you're going to use sparkpeople let me tell you about one of the coolest things about it. There is a complimentary web site and app for sparkrecipes. You log into each with the same username and password and they are linked. So, you can go through all the recipes and send them to your food tracker, then go to the food tracker and ask it to generate a shopping list for you for the week. Many wonderful, simple recipes. Of course you have to watch the servings and nutritional information, but for someone like me who really doesn't love to cook, these tools were very helpful.

Never tried it for that..

Kawi - I like to put rotel tomatoes in my chili. Of course you have to count it as part of your Green, but well worth it to me. Just add a little chili powder and garlic powder, the rotel and yer off!.

Question for the Vets - Do you use Laughing Cow light wedges or light babybels? If so how in the devil do you count them? Seems like the babybel could be the equivalent of light swiss, but not sure about the light wedges. After 8 weeks, I'd like to have a little cheese from time to time, and I remember seeing people talking about these items but I never could tell if they were really OP or not..

I had a meeting today with several people I hadn't seen in about 3 months. Total reaction from all of them. "You're looking so good!" "You've lost a lot of weight." It was very affirming that people are noticing and validating this isn't all in my head. But I noticed something. When people say "you're looking so good" I can always smile and say, "thanks! I feel really good." But when people are saying "you've lost a lot of weight" I feel shy, embarassed, uncomfortable. I realized that while I can be center stage on anything related to work, I hate being center stage about some personal issue.

I have. I'm feeling really good." So I kinda turned it around to what made me more comfortable. Not sure that makes any sense. But I had an "ah ha" and tried to develop a new skill around it. Do the rest of you experience these feelings? How do you handle such situations?..

So I feel like crap right now, upset stomach, headache, general nausea. I think it's stress related but I hope it goes away soon because I have 1 more Medifast meal to eat and NOTHING is appetizing to me right now. And I don't want to eat something and have it push my stomach over the edge and have it "come back" on me. Blah..

On a brighter note, today was a productive day. Got our taxes done among other things. I get to see my Dad tomorrow so let's hope this nausea goes away by the morning..

Have a great night everyone!..

Tkd, Here is the info from Medifast on your question:.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am a Registered Dietitian with Nutrition Support..

We typically do not recommend Laughing Cow cheese; however, some individuals will choose to incorporate the Laughing Cow cheeses on their own. The best use of Laughing Cow cheese with the 5 & 1 Plan is dependent on the type of cheese it is:.

1 wedge of the Original Laughing Cow cheese as 1 fat serving..

2 wedges of the Laughing Cow Light varieties as 1 fat serving..

1 piece of the Mini Babybel, Light (Original) as 1 fat serving..

10 pieces (approximately 47 grams) Laughing Cow Light Gourmet Cheese Bites as 1 fat serving..

Your health is the most important thing. If you are sick, don't force any food and get sick. But for some folks the chicken soups are good when not feeling well..

I have heard folks say a cup of oatmeal settles a tummy too. Maybe the oats eat up the acid in the tummy?.

Just do the best you can and of course drink lots of water. A cup of hot tea or whatever else you think you can tolerate...

Oh, I forgot to add that my dogs got into some of my Medifast meals today. I have a bag I take to work and back and left it on the kitchen table when I went out to run some errands. They ate 2 oatmeals and 1 vanilla pudding. They tore open a raspberry iced tea but left it, and I don't blame them. I'm just annoyed about the money they wasted! Live and learn I guess, I should've known better anyway, these dogs can open the fridge! ( we had to put a hook and eye latch on the door).

And just a warning-MF connection board has become a cheat board the past few days. Stay away if you don't want to be annoyed. I wish I would've, but it's like a car accident and I can't help but look!.

Tara Early on my Medifast journey, we were traveling and did not think about the packets in our car where we left the pup while we stopped for a coffee/potty break..

EWWWW the mess when we got back. She had opened the chocolate shake packets. She was covered in choco powder and my car seats were a mess..

We have always locked up the Medifast from now on...

It is still baffling to me why people would ever join MF, if all they were going to do was not do MF.

I'm not talking about people who make mistakes, that happens. I'm talking about people who plan to cheat or seem to have the need to brag about their cheat and how it did not hurt them at all..

How arrogant!.

I also don't understand the need to post about cheating and then getting all upset if everyone does not condone it and support it..

Hearing that, 'It's ok, just get back on plan!" is not helpful. It does nothing to help the offender (cheater) to understand why they did it, or how to prevent it next time..

Enabling is a dangerous place for an addict to ever be..

Empowering is where we all need to strive to be and to direct others to be..

Of course what do I know. I'm just a stay at home mom who lost 100 pounds on Medifast and have kept it off for over 2 1/2 years...

Its a mess you never forget! At least I could just vaccuum quickly, I can't imagine traveling in the car! UGH!.

Thanks for the soup/oatmeal suggestion. I'm going to wait it out a little and then try one or the other if a feel a little better. Thankfully the oatmeal they ate wasn't my last 2 packets!..

My thoughts exactly on the cheating and the bragging about it!.

Your stats say it all! Working the program works! I've lost 17 pounds so far myself, and the results alone keep me from wanting to go off plan. Not to mention I've tried other diets and this is the easiest ever to follow-open packet, mix, eat. Only 1 meal to plan a day. EASY! Until you have an upset stomach....LOL!..

Keep a note pad in your purse or there maybe a notepad on your phone so you could write down what you eat...
