Quick question... Does anyone else think the Nutrisystem weight loss commercials are ridiculous? Thanks in advance for any response. Another quick question... Things have been great for me on this program..

Man, If I would have trolled on here two years ago - when I was thinking about making "the call" ... I would have made the choice way back then to go with NS..

Lots of great advice and support from a bunch of good guys..

I'm down 22 pounds in a little over 4 weeks. Just about 4 pounds from my goal - considering lowering it to 225 (I'm 6'-4") once I hit it because I can't believe how much muscle I kept. Thought I'd look too skinny! I was wrong. The wife is amazed too (she's lost 7 and is now at 5'-2 1/2" 114 ((no pic! You guys are dawgs!!)).

We're both really happy with NS..

I wish I took a "before" picture!!! DAMMIT!!!..

Yup, but you might wanna make sure and wait for another person here to confirm it as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you contact the Nutrisystem guys because they can answer you better...

RadsDad - I actually mentioned you to my wife last night (weird, huh?)..

I told her about how this program changed people in ways they never thought possible..

Lifting weights, running, swimming, biking .... all of it - not just eating better - Not just a walk or two around the neighborhood - instead releasing something in them - some type of desire they never had, which remarkably ended up putting them within reach of a goal or activity they thought was absolutely unattainable..

I told her that you and other Nutrisystem users were running marathons, 1/2 marathons, 5K's ... etc. She was blown away! That's some great inspiration..

I always thought I wasn't built for running. Now I'm thinking about taking up jogging and even competeing in an Ironman competition some day..

Just need to take.

That.

First step I guess .....

Very cool post, Sean. I wish I had done it earlier also. It really is such an easy and controllable thing to do to improve appearance and health...

We are on the same page; I woke up thinking the exact same thing this morning. This is day 3 for me, and I am so pleased with how this is going..

First day was really difficult, I was starving in the afternoon, but made it through. I was fine after I ate dinner. Second day was better, I was hardly hungry at all. And today, I am woke up thinking to myself how I am feeling better and healthier. I don't have the feeling in my stomach like I swallowed a lead ball (from overeating), and I am not having the sugar highs/crashes from my old eating style. I feel lighter and healthier..

I have always been physically active, and I am fortunate to live where there is relatively mild weather and great amenities (Albuquerque)...lots of open space for hiking, miles of bike trails, etc. My problem has been eating too much, and that is where Nutrisystem is really working for me. Eating in the morning (I never used to have breakfast) is making a big difference...it is what is helping me not be hungry later in the day, even though I am eating much less. And I love looking at the daily tracker at the end of the day and saying "I did it." I keep the tracker manually and online, just to keep myself on track..

This is a big year for me as I am turning 50 , my goal is to lose 50. I have no doubt I am going to do it...

I totally agree with everyone on this...NS has changed my life..

When I started the program in September 2008, my intention was to lose 25 pounds (which I thought would take months). A little more than 9 months later I was down 90 pounds, which is about 20 pounds lighter than I was in High School (30 years ago)..

Since June of last year I have been able to stay within 2 pounds of my goal weight by using the Nutrisystem principles..

I know that losing 90 pounds has changed the way I feel about myself. I know I can continue living like this the rest of my life as long as I continue to focus on my health (which is the major reason I continue to come to these boards on a regular basis)..

As far as the cost, I agree that Nutrisystem is cheaper than dining out and buying "crap" at the store..

I also should mention how inspirational it is to read stories like Clark's, losing 90 pounds in 9 months...

Yep I kick myself every morning for not doing this sooner. If I had only known it really was this easy...

Sean & Rads: I am with both of you and the others that have posted. I would have ordered the first time I saw the commerical if I would have known it was this easy. And as I am eating my lunch right now rather than putting down another $7-$10 for a lunch, I believe that Nutrisystem is acutally saving me money as well. Eating in more, drinking less booze = more money in my pocket..

A year ago, if you would have told me that I was doing a 5K I would have asked you who was going to pull me in the wagon. It's amazing how much more enjoyable running is now that my knees do not hurt so damn much...

The sentiment has been well conveyed by you all, but I'm going to pile on. This has been one of the best things I've ever done for myself. In 4 short weeks, I'm more motivated to change my lifestyle than I've ever been before. I'm losing weight, exercising, eating more healthfully...all good stuff. It's the results and the ease of the program that's sucked me in and motivated me to keep going. Like the rest of you guys, my only regret is that I didn't do this years ago (well, and the gas...I could do without that)..

PS- You guys f'ing rock. The support is phenomenal. Thanks and keep it up...
