Does iPage support Java and/or JavaScript?

First question I got is Does iPage support Java and/or JavaScript? Thanks in advance for any comment. Another question I got... I've read through some of the installation instructions and I have a few questions..

We have a web iPage site up and running but with no online purchasing.. We are ready to try the OS Commerce but I don't want to take my iPage site down until I've had a chance to play with and get a store completely set up..

OS Commerce can be automatically installed by Cpanel.

Do I have it install to a sub iPage domain or do I let it create a directory to install to?.

Can I set this up without messing up my existing site?.

How do I access it once it's installed?.

Sorry about the novice questions..

Thanks in advance for any help..

The answer is Yes, however you might wanna make sure and wait for someone else to confirm this as I am unsure of myself. Better yet, why don't you contact the iPage guys because they can answer your iPage question better...

Hi.

Hi, you should be able to install OSC into a folder claaed catalog (providing you don't already have one.

You can access this folder at any time by going to www.yoursite.com/catalog/index.php.

Only you will know it's there (you could even password protect the folder to keep it safe to start).

Then once ready to go live, remove the password and create a subdomain for your store to direct to that folder.

So what you would have is something like.

Or.

Does that make sense?.

Regards.

YT aka Keith..
