First off, Does iPage.com provide web hosting? Hoping for any comment. Second question of mine... Hullo Hullo, I'm new to osCommerce and have a general fiddle prior to a possible online shop for a local computer company I work for..

My problem is this:.

OsComemrce installed successfully and I can look at my catalogue, but when I try and access the admin tool, I get this error:.

1046 - No Database Selected.

Select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration.

[TEP STOP].

I detest MySQL and I don't know any php.

I'm running this off a home server, so I can change anything that's set up incorectly..

Help me!.

Ta!..

Yup, but... you might want to make sure and wait for someone else to confirm it as I am not quite sure. Better yet, why don't you give a call to the iPage guys because they can assist you better...

You say that you can look at the catalog so the problem is in the admin/includes/configure.php.

What to do is copy the part about the database info from the catalog/includes/configure.php to the admin/includes/configure.php.

Remember to only copy the part about the database info this bit.

// define our database connection.

Define('DB_SERVER', '*******');.

Define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', '*****');.

Define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', '*****');.

Define('DB_DATABASE', '*******');.

Define('USE_PCONNECT', 'false');.

Define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql');.

In the example above the information has been *** out..
