First off, First 2 weeks of Medifast Diet? Help? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question I got... Other topics will be discussed that may not be appropriate for the easily offended..

Please discontinue reading Tough Love threads if they are going to cause you to become upset..

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++.

Medifast is a wonderful program with many different types of support and a fabulous community. We understand that everyone is an adult and this is not a "mean" group. For some of us, we thrive on this program if we have a place where we are held accountable, where we commit to the program 100% and where we have a place to chat with others who feel the same..

What we believe.

:.

1. Cheating on Medifast is NOT a strategy to get us out of our fat suits.

2. The only way for us to learn about our problems with food is to take the word "choice" out of the equation when it comes to Medifast. Our only "choice" is 5 packets and 1 weighed and measured lean and green a day.

3. We look to those who have been successful with this strategy to continuously remind us about why this way, for us, is the way to go.

4. We believe that, even though we are completely committed, knowing that we have a group that holds us accountable for our actions is both useful and important.

We commit to.

:.

1. Remove the word "choice" from our vocabularies.

2. Follow the Medifast plan as written, including transition and maintenance.

3. Tell our "inner brat" to shut the H-E-** up and quiet him or her through abstenance from off plan foods.

4. Give and receive tough love without complaining or calling each other "mean".

5. Cheerlead fellow group members as they follow the path to thinness.

6. Make Medifast the LAST diet we ever go on.

7. Check in with the group as often as our schedule reasonably allows.

8. Be honest with ourselves and our Medifast family and to stay 100% OP at all times. We also swear that WHEN (not if) we are having a tough time and feel like we may eat SLUDGE, to come to our Medifast family first and ask for support and help to get us through the struggle..

Getting the banner.

:.

1. Copy the following text using your favorite method:.

[IMG*]http://i851.photobucket.com/albums/ab74/pennosh/ToughLove.jpg[/IMG*].

2. Click on the "Edit Profile/Settings" link at the top of this page.

3. Click on the "Edit Signature" link on the left of the page.

4. Place your cursor in the "Edit Signature" area (looks like a mini version of Microsoft Word) and paste the text you copied using your favorite method.

5. Remove the two asterisks (*) from the text you just pasted.

6. Click "preview signature". You should now see the banner in the Preview area (above where you are editing)!!!.

7. Click the "Save Signature" button. If you do not, all this will have been for naught! So make SURE you save this after you are all set!.

Anyone can start the thread. If youre the first one here in the morning, copy this opening post and create a post for the new day. Anyone is welcome to join, and if folks have additional ideas on how we can commit, we are happy to hear them!..

I would like to know the answer too. Anyone here know what is the answer. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I bump into an answer. You should email the people at Medifast as they probably could answer your Medifast question..

Top o' the Mornin' to all of you! Thanks for the green coffee, Barb. It's that special Irish blend...mmmmm...

My grandparents are from Ireland. The coffee can't be anything but green!..

Good morning Barb and Jan!.

Thanks for the much needed coffe this morning Barb! Work has been crazy this week, I have definitely spent more time there than at home..

Going to get ready to go back, blah. At least I'm off tomorrow!.

Tara..

Good Morning Tough Love Clan!.

I have a question. I get rather perturbed when reading other posts where MFers are trying to figure out, why do I have to eat all the Medifast meals? why can't I eat other substitute foods? why can't I have fruit? or diary? why can't I...? why can't I...? The whining is killing me and I really have to bite my tongue! I believe in being supportive, and holding ourselves and others accountable but I don't do whining very well. Could this be an indication that I should be joining Tough Love? If so, please tell me where to sign up!.

Thanks!..

Thanks Barb, I LOVE green coffee - My grandparents were from County Cork, so I'm wearing the green today! Got my green shirt, earrings and eyeliner! Perhaps some green tint in my shake today, we'll see!.

Top of the Mornin' to ya, Tara and Jan!.

Good Mornin' K! Welcome to Tough Love 100% Works! We don't do anything OTHER than 100%. So if you're willing, we welcome you aboard!.

And off to the races we go. Last day of the book fair (phew!) and then that's it. I have a full schedule of non-work work Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday - but it's all good! I'm thinking of learning how to make quilts so I can donate them to worthy causes. Keep the hands busy... you know?.

I hope everyone is well. I'll stop by later from work..

Melissa..

Good Morning all!.

Fuzzy.

You are welcome to come clean my house next time you're up early.

Morning Jan, Melissa, and Tara.

Welcome kinec!.

My youngest has a half day today so I'm off to drive people to school and then tonight oldest has debate. I had to buy him a dress shirt and tie and the nice man at the store tied the tie for him (since Eric isn't here to do it). Have a great one!..

Now that I've had a cup or two of the brew I can think more clearly..

I'm lucky enough to be married to an Irishman (dad from County Cork, mother from County Tyrone), so I've got my green on, too.

Here's a few Irish Blessings:.

May the best day of your past.

Be the worst day of your future..

May you live to be a hundred years.

With one extra year to repent..

As you slide down the banister of life,.

May the splinters never point in the wrong direction!.

These things I warmly wish to you-.

Someone to love.

Some work to do.

A bit o' sun.

A bit o' cheer.

And a guardian angel always near...

Good morning, TL and Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't have a lot of green, but I'll do my best! I gotta do something about that. I love green!.

K, I loved reading your post. Sounds like you'll fit right in! Welcome!.

Still working on my first cup, so no chopped tofu....

I've been working on those earvine earrings I talked about, and coming up with several designs and ideas... including these which have jade, glass pearls, and a little shamrock at the end. I love having a little girl who's young enough to still think her Mom's stuff is cool!..

And the cat head in the background really is attached to the rest of my fat catskin rug cat!..

Good morning and another Happy St. Pat's from another Tough Lover of Irish descent. I'm in a rush this morning, running late, and still in my pjs..

Thanks for the coffee!..

Happy St. Paddy's to ya'll! I married into a Scotch-Irish family, so we enjoy the St. Patrick's Day celebrations at our house..

I loved the Irish Blessing, Jan..

K, welcome to the group. It was all the whining that drove me here too..

Melissa: Quilting is super fun and I love it, but don't really have time for it right now. During the summer I usually try to get a project done, but during the school year I just don't have time. You'll love it, though..

I don't drink coffee, but I think I'll have some green tea today!..

Oh yes, I just thought I'd mention in case Freya reads this: I have some awesome green and black striped (over-the-knee) socks to wear today. They are right up your alley, girl!..

Morning TL'ers! and thanks for the green coffee, Barb!.

Welcome K - you may well have found your home. I for one VERY RARELY ever venture to the MC boards. I go every now and then to read a success story but I don't see any reason to surround myself with people who aren't in this 100%. I have too far to go to sabotage myself in any way. Just be sure to read our intro to make sure we're right for you, and come here BEFORE you make an off plan move - so we can talk you down. We're all about prevention, rather than whacking someone after the fact..

Speaking of prevention, I have to report that I've recently had all my blood work done and my numbers are just outstanding. I have my mammagram appointment today and am picking up a new automatic c-pap. It adjusts the air pressure to whatever I need, which will be a great relief now that I've lost a chunk of weight, because I feel like I've been fighting my current c-pap for the last month. I have also booked my pap smear (in May) and my colonoscopy (April 8th). I know many of us obese folks put off preventive medical services, but really all we're doing is practically guaranteeing problems. So if you've been putting off your prevention appointments - I hope this will motivate you to make your move!.

VERY happy to report that it is my official weigh-in day and I am down another 3.5 lbs - even with the mindset stall. My mind may fail me, but the program never does. I have also now officially lost 50 Medifast pounds, and 60 altogether. Doing the happy butt dance here. I will certainly be in the 220's by the time I get on the plane for my next conference in Atlanta on the 27th..

Jan - thanks for the Irish blessings!.

To all those of you with Irish descent, a special happy St. Patty's day!! I have some too but am trying to verify through Ancestry.com. Nothing very close in generations though. By the way, I have to say that one thing I love about the Obama family is that they dye the fountain green!! uber-cool in my opinon..

Penny - I have a feeling your daughter will think you're cool for the rest of her life! My boys and I have had this discussion for years. We all agree my grandmother was cool even in her 80's and my mom was never cool (but we loved her just the same). I think cool is born into you! LOL.

Okay, gotta get ready for work. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone I missed and everyone to come..

Oh - De - Will start the fish oil today. Also realized I had not been taking my multivitamin, so will do that as well. Thanks for the support..

HUGGLES!..

Top o the mornin TLers..

Thanks for the green coffee. I'll take a cup for now and a cup to go..

I too am of Irish descent. My grandmother was 100% Irish. She had the bright red hair to prove it. I got my auburn hair from her..

My little on is excited because I'm going to spray his hair green today. I'm using colored hair spray, not spray paint. Although that would be amusing too..

Congrats on the loss TKD..

Welcome K..

Jan, loved the Irish blessings. Thanks for posting them..

Waves and a tip of the hat to everyone I got and those I missed...

Tracey, that was sweet! Thank you! My parents were very cool. They were older than my friends' parents. They had me at roughly the same age I had Emma - 40ish. All my friends absolutely LOVED my parents. They were strict, but funny and loving and you never had to guess where you stood with them. I still try to make them proud each and every day...

Yes, K! You have found a whine-free zone. We are a kick-*** support you come to before any cause for whining in your life and on your journey..

Welcome K, you are home..

This feels like "Men in Black" to me right now, K..

When DH worked in a Forensic Unit in a State Psychiatric system, he cared for the criiminally insane. One AM he came into work and the unit was completely silent. Extremely unusual. He walked on and passed them all watching "Men in Black in complete and utter silent absoption. It was not a movie. It was reality TV.

Thanks for the coffee Barb. I take mine green, anyway..

Tomorrow my DD1 is going to celebrate her 35th birthday. I must live in a time warp because I'm sure I'm younger than that- and DH acts like he has all the stamina and energy of a 25 year old young man. So, time warp certainly..

Feels like a good dy to me so far. Wait until I get out of bed. Taken all my AM Rxs so we'll see. Midwest temps are supposed to be in the 60+ today, so I'll celebrate the "Wearin" o' the Green" outside , if I can. I'll take my Claritin before the trees start budding to let my body head off severe allergies..

Enjoy your St. Patrick's Day, TLers..

Beth..

Good Morning and Happy St. Patty's Day!!!.

Oh, getting out of bed was brutal this morning. Even though I'm taking tomorrow off I still have to get up too stinking early to go in and have some fasting blood work done. One of the main reasons I'm taking off the last week of the month is I suffer burn-out about every 3rd month, so it's a good thing for me that the end of each quarter is a 5 week fiscal month which allows me to take time off before I crash completely. They are checking my thyroid levels tomorrow, as well as doing a rare thyroglobulin test. I double dog dare my Dr. to try and change my meds again!!!.

Penny - Those earrings are almost as cute as the girlie wearing them!.

K - Welcome indeed! Think you'll fit right in here..

Tracey - AWESOME loss this week! ^5.

Waving to everyone. Need to get my work done so I can take tomorrow off...

Aww, thanks, De! I'm also wearing some pretty zig-zaggy ones with green Swarovski crystals against gold. Pretty!.

Good luck with your bloodwork tomorrow. What are our numbers for today?..

Just stopped by for a quick hello!.

Hi Anna!.

Jan, thanks so much for the blessing!.

Penny - the earrings are gorgeous!.

Hi Zoe, time to get dressed!.

Morin' Pittiekisses - I love to sew, but I've never quilted before, so I have to go to class - which I have no idea where I'll find the time for. I'm much better at curtains and stuff. I'm making a new duvet cover & curtains for the bedroom starting on Sunday..

Tk - Great job on the loss - I love what you said about your mind stalling out but the plan doesn't!.

Hi Cheri, I wish I had thought of green hair - I would have done it for for kicks!.

Hi Beth!.

Hi De! Hope all goes well at the drs!.

I did not have cool parents, mostly because they died when I was very young (6 & 10) so I had various parental figures none of which were cool in any way... which is why I made conscious decision to be a cool parent. My daughter, who is now 26, she agrees with that assessment, especially compared to her boyfriends parents (hehehe)..

See you in a bit!.

Melissa..

Morning!.

I'm rockin' my Ray Allen Celtic's shirt and my shamrock socks. I think I'm ready for school! My principal has us playing Shamrock Bingo today. I hope I win... unless it's candy. I don't know what the prizes are..

K- Welcome!.

TKD- Awesome job!.

Beth- Your DH has the energy and stamina of a 25-year-old. Hmmmm... sounds interesting!.

I'm in a great mood! I got maybe the 2 best compliments ever yesterday..

1) A parent at school came up to me obviously upset. He said he heard about my pinkslip through the grapevine and it's complete bullsh**. He said I was the best teacher on campus and wanted to know how to protest my pinkslip..

2) I played fast-pitch softball for 12 years and have coached for several as well. I coached this girl for a year and her mom is now a friend of mine. Her daughter had never played before being on my team. After the year on my team, she is now playing competitive ball. Her mom told someone else that I could make anyone a good softball player..

Awwww....

I'm blushing!.

Have a great day!.

Deidra..

Deidra.

How awesome to have such great things happening (minus the pink slip)..

Morning everybody. I'm making "The Big Announcement" this morning. Goal baby! After last week's zero loss, I dropped 3.4 this week, putting me at 147 lbs. and below goal..

40 weeks, 145.2 pounds lost, 1400 Medifast packets, 280 measured L&G's, and NO cheating and look what happened! I got all skinny..

Thanks for all the support I've gotten here. While I could have been successful on my own, it made it so much more fun, and so much easier, to do it around people who share the 100% attitude and who know that that is the only sure way to succeed..

When I called my mom this morning to tell her, she was very pleased but quickly wanted to know if that meant I could have Corned Beef tonight for dinner. She's never going to learn, but it made me smile...

Wow, fabulous Gigi, so very, very proud of you!!!!!!.

Melissa..

Hello to everyone and thanks for the welcomes yesterday..

And thanks anonygirl for calling me "cool!".

Beth-No, I'm not suprised that you are here. I must confess that I knew that because I am somewhat a secret admirer of yours!.

As far as the smoking, my Dr. prescribed me Chantix today. We'll see how that goes! Wish me luck!.

I'm also of Irish descent. My maiden name is McCleary! Happy St. Patrick's day to everybody! I almost forgot to put my kids in green, but thankfully my mother called to remind me! What would I do without her? As far as cool parents go, I think my parents are the coolest! My 71 year old grandmother is also cool. I love hanging out with her. When I have to go to Austin for business, I always take her with me and we have so much fun!.

And congratulations to Gigi!..

Jan, I love this one! I just reposted on my FB..

Good morning, TL'ers!..

STRIPEY SOCKS!!!! I'm so proud of you..

And for TKD: you shouldn't be taking that multivitamin unless it's doctor-prescribed. The Medifast food has 100% of your RDA of a bazillion things, and you can cause liver/kidney damage by having too much of the fat-soluble vitamins...

GIGI!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

I'm so incredibly happy for you. OMG did you rock this program. I can't believe how fast you took that all off. You're my hero!!!!..

First of all,.

CONGRATS, GIGI!!!.

Penny- Love the earrings! And your DD is SO adorable I totally missed the cat head in the background until you said something about it!.

Ok TLers, I have a dilemma. It's obviously Lent right now and my mom has asked me to join her and my dad in a once-a-week fast. The rule would be that on Thursdays during Lent you can only drink liquid. Little do they know that I'm armed with Medifast shakes.

The problem is, I know that Medifast used to allow doing only 6 shakes a day without a L&G, but it's not an option anymore. Do you all consider me off plan if I do that? If so, then I will just tell my mom I can't do it, but I'd like to. I know if this were Thanksgiving and I said I wanted something special that wouldn't be allowed. Is this a different situation? I need guidance from my teachers!..

Congratulations, Gigi!.

That is awesome! You are a true inspiration. I still remember what you said in another thread (a couple of months ago) when we were talking about "hungry days" and some people - me included - were saying they often ate their meals too close together on those days and you said something like, "It's not going to kill me to a be a little hungry." That really hit home for me and I find myself thinking it..

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!..

Jess, of course it's a personal choice how to observe your faith. That said, obesity is a life-threatening medical condition, and you are already on a medically-designed (and possible doctor-prescribed, depending on your situation with your doctor) program that is very strict and challenging for the body. It's also finely balanced as designed..

If it were me, I would tell my parents that my health requires I follow my food plan as designed, even during Lent. Then I'd offer to do something else to show my solidarity, like giving up tv on Thursdays or something..

Good luck whatever you decide!..

I wonder how much fatter my bank account would be if I had not spent so much money on junk food and food binges over the course of my life? Just pondering this as I wait on news about my car which is in the shop. I'm really hoping it is a cheap fix...

Thanks everybody; it's a really good day..

Jess, regarding Lent, whether I would do the all liquid day would depend on just why I was doing it. If it's because I think it's an appropriate way to observe my faith, then I would do it. If it's because I don't want to have to deal with my mother's wrath, then I'd suck it up and tell her that my eating plan won't allow it this year. Only you know what you really feel...

Congratulations Gigi!!! You have astounded me with your swift success!..

Gigi- It's not really about my Mother's wrath (she tends to go more for the suddle jabs than full-on wrath anyway.

) but I DO think that I'll show my commitment to God by continuing to do Medifast perfectly. Sure, my Lenten season will last a *bit* longer, but it takes real devotion to do this program. I will explain to her next week what I am doing (they don't konw I'm on MF, but I'll be "home" for a few days duing Spring Break) and my compromise will be to do 5 shakes and 1 L&G. It will be a compromise, too, because I DO love my bars!.

On other news, I had to laugh at myself last night. After those egg beaters, I still had another Medifast meal I had to fit in and I was already really tired. I caught myself thinking, "Man! I kind of wish we didn't have to eat so much on this plan!". Of course I scoffed at myself for even having the thought (not that it even entered my mind to skip anything, but still) and then I burst out laughing. If you had told me that first week that in less than two weeks I'd be wish I didn't have to eat SO MUCH FOOD, I would've thought you were NUTS. hehe..

Carolyn - I'd be RICH!!!!!!!!!! and I wish I were kidding!!!!!.

Melissa..

GIGI! You lost 145 pounds in less than a year..

WOW!.

I love this team, so much success!..

I know, Melissa! Me too! When people talk about how expensive Medifast is, I just think to myself that it's cheaper than how I used to eat!..

Is it just that I'm crabby, or is it particularly unpleasant outside of the Clubhouse today? I'm voting for crabby......

Please hold De, it may not be you! I'll go check..

Melissa..

No! Don't leave this safe bunker! It's nothing but condiments and complaints out there!..

OMG - De - it's DEFINITELY.NOT.YOU!!!!!!!!!! what a hot mess. You're right Zoe, I don't know what I was thinking! It's down right scary out there. I'm staying right here where I'm safe and people understand me!!!!!..

It's not you, it normally doesn't bug me but today it's just different...

Hehe. Thanks for checking Melissa..

My pet peeve of the day is people who bring up old controversial posts just to stir the pot again...

Oh, am I in trouble over there? I'm an old favorite to resent, when it's not De of course...

Nope. Neither one of us today Freya, although it's only a matter of time before someone brings one of us into it...

You are a bit crabby.... judging by your wanting to block me on the other thread... hehe.... but it is also particularly unpleasant out there...

Note to self: Don't go play in Connection today..

I've had a busy day, so far. I thought I was scheduled for my annual physical (I have been on top of ALL my preventative stuffs for the last few years!) next Thursday, so today I had planned on trekking over to Dallas to get my blood drawn as soon as the lab opened. Well, last night some spirit moved me to check on the fasting time required for a lipid panel, and lo it was not 8 hours like I had allowedit is 12! This is at 11:20 p.m., mind you, and I was working on my last Medifast meal of the day! POOR planning on my part!.

So I stayed up a couple extra hours (no problem, my sleep is all whack this week anyway with no school or work) and slept in as late as was reasonable before heading to meet my event planner at the Rangers Ballpark to look at the space that we are renting for our belated wedding reception and vow renewal in September..

YESwe are "getting married" in the Ballpark! DH wasn't too keen on it for our actual wedding, wanting something more traditional for the sake of his family, but this event is about what WE want, and WE are Texas Rangers baseball fanatics!.

Anyway, so we were done with that about 11:40 and I headed over to the Dallas hospital and arrived smack in the middle of the lunch break that my doctor's staff take. Had to wait around half an hour just to get my lab requisition slip, and then the first lab tech wasn't so good with the needle in my vein... OH MY. I ended up eating my first meal at 1:30! The good news is, while I was in the doctor's office the receptionist responded to my "see you next week!" with "On the 30th?" I had recorded my appointment wrong! Fortunately, the day that THEY have me scheduled is an empty day for me, so it was easy to fix in my calendar. Glad I got saved from making that long trip out there for nothing next week!.

Now I've got a whole lot of pharmacology chapters to read. Boo..

Gigi, MAJOR congratulations!! You are an inspiration to many!.

DH is out of town until Sunday. I'm not feeling a need to be talked off of any ledges, but most of my sludge cravings happen when he is gone and I know the cats will keep a secret. I'm thinking extra 100% thoughts this weekend!!..

Oh wow. I shouldn't have checked the Medifast Connection board. Stay far, far away people.....

Quick someone slap me! I have this desire to put something in my mouth. I am not hungry, do not need to refuel, just bored. 100% always... 1000% always.... 10000% ALWAYS..

OK, so I hate to dredge up old stuff (especially when we're already mentioning it's annoying) BUT, I started to get curious about the Rogues because they've gotten mentioned a lot lately. I did read the last few days worth of posts, and I won't bring that up, but I have to say that, as a grammar snob, I especially appreciated this part of the "dictionary":.

Loose: How our banana pants feel.

Lose: What we do with our excess fat.

I can't tell you how many times I read about people stalling and doing everything they can to get over it (even 100% OP can result in stalls, as we all know), but they still just can't "loose" any weight. It's all I can do to keep myself for responding with nothing more than a spelling correction. I usually just keep my mouth shut, and honestly, typos happen, but if you're going to be talking about losing weight for quite a while, figure out how to do it properly. Just sayin.....

Jess, you are my new best friend. Hope you don't mind. I'm a complete grammar n.a.z.i too (as well), but MC is definitely not a place where you can just correct people and expect no backlash!..

SMACK!!!!.

Quick enough?.

Oh Great! Lisa is bound and determined that I be banned from the boards. Fine. I can take a hint!..

Jess - That was a definite pet peeve of the Rogues as well, hence it being included in the dictionary hehe. Den Mom actually put that in her signature as well. Sorry you only caught the last few days of the group. Back in the day, Rogues were a group who's banner cast fear into the hearts of Wheaters everywhere <snicker> and are the original and ultimate cyber bullies of MF-land (at least that's what I'm told).

Seriously, it was a great group of people, very much like this group only much more direct and honest to the point of brutal sometimes. And then, of course, there was Dave.......

Don't MAKE us do a De thread again, people! You won't like what happens when we unleash our snark in defense of the De over in MC!!!..

Oh, I will LOVE it. I could name a few people who would.

Really.

Get their panties in a wad over it, though..

Fortunately, several of them are invisible to me these days...

< clueless. I have no idea what y'all are even talking about...

Ditto..

I obviously haven't been around long enough, but hopefully one day I'll be...

Awwwww that's no fun. I'll change if you really really really really want me to. <pout>..

Da*n - Who's Dave??????? COME ON don't leave us poor baby newcomers so clueless!!!!! It hurts! Don't you just hate it when the grown ups won't tell you who all the trouble makers are and what they did? Ruin my weekend, guys, thanks!!!!!.

Melissa..

Sorry haven't been around the last two days. Work has me run ragged. Will try to catch up over the weekend...

Tell you what, Melissa. Go out there and start a thread about how much you miss Dave and watch the fur fly!!! Bwahahahahahaha.

Dave is the one and only Rogue ever to be banned from Medifast for life! He was known as the Whip Master and had a pile of dancing poop in his signature. Answer any questions?..

Holy cow. So the Rogues are "meaner" than the Tough Lovers? Jeepers, Scooby!.

Well, I need to get off my **** and get to the gym...

Dave is a soul mate!.

Congratulations Gigi! Awesome loss in only 40 weeks. Incredible..

I have been on the blogside today. I have a terrible sinus headache from the flu, so maybe I missed the stink..

Has anyone heard from Shrinkinglawchick lately? She's featured in the new opening page for this site. I am assuming the news was not good and she's in chemotherapy..

She let me have it for being unkind, which I wasn't at all. But she expresses herself so beautifully, I just miss her..

Beth..

Yes De - it really does - how gross! I don't really need to know more, thanks!.

Anyway, hope everyone has a peaceful and happy OP night! I'm off to play with thread and needles for a while..

Doorbell just rang and it was the florist delivering two dozen roses with a very sweet note from my adorable husband. A congratulations on reaching goal..

As if my day wasn't good enough already..

I'm going to take a picture of them and stick it in my "100 Reasons Not to Gain it Back" file...

Oh, this group is WAY tame compared to the Rogues. Have fun at the gym.

Gigi - Awwww. Sweet guy!..

Gigi, YAY!!! CONGRATS!!!!.

De, thanks for the update on Dave.

I feel so much more included but will only truly feel good if I can figure out how to get a dancing poop on my signature line too!.

Also, Penny, those earrings are beautiful!.

I've been blag lately...OP, but just kind of computer unmotivated and haven't logged on in a while. I think it's because I'm getting in a bit of a life rut here...time to stir something up.

Hope you are all having a great St. Patty's day.

Rachael - Good to see you post. I wish I could remember where Dave got all his little animated figures from. He had a dancing veggie/something for each of us when we hit goal. Think mine was dancing broccoli. hehe. He really was a great guy.

Hope you can get out of your rut soon. We miss you around here...

Gigi, your husband is utterly adorable. That's fantastic..

Your 100 reasons file is GENIUS...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhhahahahahahahah......ahhh, if only I could take a 30 lbs crap.

I needed that laugh!.

Thanks De (and Dave where ever you may be!)..

Dang, I missed a lot today! Not venturing far... I really am at full ay hole capacity..

I can't believe that no one has already mentioned this, but "Dave's not here, Man...".

Rotisserie chicken boobeys on salad (skinless, of course) for dinner..

Rachael, thanks for the nice comment on my earrings! I printed out some cardstock with realistic ears on it so I can get some good photos of my earrings for Etsy..

Ohhhhhh, I don't wanna go out there.....

Here's hoping I'm not up early for a long time!..

Oh, and Jess, your post made me LOL... I am a card-carrying member of S.P.O.G.G. (The Society for the Promotion of Good Grammar) and grammar booboos drive me crazy. I can't stop proof reading to save my life. I'm not an expert, but I have a good grasp on my first language. Your/you're; there/their/they're; affect/effect...

I have pondered this many times over my 30 years of yo-yo dieting. How much money would I have today if I wouldn't have spent it on sludge...

I have to say, it is my experience that when a man approaches me on the internet (via a personal ad I have posted, or through a friend on FB perhaps) and uses complete sentences, punctuation, and no egregious homonym errors, he is 93% of the way to me begging to have his children..

When did I get so easily impressed? Oh wait, I remember. It's when grown men started sending replies to personal ads that looked like "i want 2 lik your ___" (you know what he said.).

It takes very little more to get a date with me than correctly using "it's" in a sentence with a capital letter at the front of it. I'd say that + breathing and we're good to go...

I would have no more money, I promise you. I would have spent it on hobbies, clothes, jewelry, hookers, whatever. It would be gone one way or another...

Great grammar, great spelling, and ability to form coherent sentences. And a cute smile. That's how my husband wrangled me...
