Hmm... I need to find out myself. I don't know what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably could give you help..

Im not suggesting anyone make it a habit but an off plan meal every now and then won't kill you. By all means make healthy choices while you're eating off plan since we'll all have a lifetime of healthy choices once we're done with the Nutrisystem food but the most important thing is getting right back on the plan once the meal is over..

Enjoy your VD and resume checking off meal planner boxes the next day...

Yeah, just limit the damage by making healthy choices. Bill offered some great advice of checking the restaurant's website for nutrition facts so that you can plan your meal ahead of time. I've done that numerous times when I knew I was going out to eat and it's worked well for me...

Good luck and a little pre-planning should certainly help. Also hit the water pretty good prior..

I am heading into week six with good progress and will face the same challenge in two weeks when I ride to bike week in Daytona for 5 days. Puttlng a plan together now... Any suggestions?..

Well I think I did pretty well. I had a Jameson on the rocks as opposed to a few beers. I had grilled Halibut when normally it would have been a Parmesan Crusted Filet. I went with grilled broccoli instead of mashed potatoes. I passed on the jalapeno corn bread with cinnamon butter. And I had 1 shrimp from a shrimp cocktail.

I left food on my plate..

If was tough, almost counter intuitive to make these choices, but I did it. Although not perfect...I felt it was a lot better than before I embarked on this journey..

Rtfire I ride too and have some tripe coming up this spring/summer. I plan on bringing a lot of the bars along..

Sounds like you made wise choices. I don't believe anything other then the drink would really be off plan (unless you ate way to much)..

I am betting you didn't hurt yourself at all..

You also need to understand that this is only the first of many times you will need to make decisions when you are out. I have found that once you realize that you will still eat very well with the type of meal you had, it gets easier as you go..

These types of decisions need to be your life style..
