I need a Google Chrome tweak like the Gmail Notifier on Firefox. Anyone knows if they have it out yet? It's one of the things that's stopping me from completely switching over to Google Chrome.

Yes there is but you have to use the DEV version of Chrome, not the beta one that's available. You can tweak and add stuff to the dev version and one of them is the gmail notifier.
