Callaway Diablo Octane Driver is the best of bunch

Tried one other '11 drivers from Callaway, Ping, Titleist, Cleveland, and Taylormade. None of them impressed me enough to drag the trigger. I then found this Callaway Diablo Octane Driver. The black theme is business, the GP multicompound black and white grip adds a bit of class. The 450cc head is smaller compared to Goliaths available but still has a lot of forgiveness. Sound at impact is nice and muted as a result of composite. The bespoke PX tour shaft loads a lot more like a good flex (exactly like the G15 stiff shaft) due to lightweight shaft and head. If you're a big banger with fast tempo, you might upgrade the shaft. My drives have a nice boring mid flight with a lot less spin than my old R flex driver. I carry 230 - 250 yds by having an additional 10 to 15 yds of roll and couldn't be happier. The Octane Black is now the best club inside bag.
