I have been using Chrome since the day after its public release. Previously I have been a big FireFox user.

1. So far, I have only two issues. One has to do with interactive web apps on web pages. I am online mostly for the stock market. I use a service that has stock charts with added functionality via drop-down menus. While the Java loads the chart, the drop-downs do now all work.

2. One of the sites that I blog on an awful lot is http://www.marketedu.com
This is a heavy multimedia site. I find that with Chrome, waiting for the pages to load can be excruciatingly slow. Other times I'll get a timeout from the ColdFusion server script?
But if I use FireFox on the site, things are normal and load just fine.

So there must be some problems I'm guessing with some of the scripts, Java, Flash that sites typically use which Chrome does not handle well. This is going to create a strong resistance from heavy browser users who develop and test on the web. Which will then trickle down to the masses via word of mouth and online reviews and add-on comments.

Anyone got a line on this? Is there anything that is getting done to address such issues?  I'm all for everything Google as long as it is useful to me and that I don't have to switch off of because one of my main sites or web apps don't play well together.

Thanks in advance for your comments and whatnot.  Wink

Been noticing that too, that some sites are slower/faster on Firefox while some are slower/faster on Chrome. Maybe it's the websites themselves? The newest version of Firefox has been extra slow recently too so I've bee using Chrome more and more.

It only boils to one thing. There's no such thing as the perfect browser. The strong point of IE could be the weakness of google chrome.

I tried out Chrome very shortly after it came out & was NOT impressed. I have never used it since & have no intentions of doing so. Partly because I love firefox so much. However, I would give Chrome a try before using IE. I know IE is the #1 brower by number of users, but I still don't like it. I find it's slow and tends to lock up more easily.

But then again, that's my opinion & I reckon everyone's experience and computer is a little bit different...

I agree that most of the simply sites do load faster in Chrome however when it comes to script heavy, graphics laden sites, I think almost 60%-80% of those loads faster in Firefox. I'm a heavy browser user since I work freelance through the Internet, I've been using Firefox for a long time and recently Chrome, I'm not yet impressed with it but I can see that it's growing and may well soon give Firefox a run for the money. IE only has the biggest number because it's bundled with Windows.

There are some sites where the images don't fully load. But when I try other browsers, they are fine. And yes, some sites were slower with Chrome and others are faster. But nonetheless, I still find chrome faster than the other browsers so I still prefer among other browsers.

Titleist ap2 710 forged irons and Titleist ap2 irons for sale.

Morgan parred the Ping i15 irons and Ping G15 Irons final four holes to send the $1.3 million tournament into sudden death on the 6,967-yard Founder's Course at Greystone Golf Club. He followed up a pair of 67s with a 3-under 69 on Sunday. Jacobs entered the day six shots back after rounds of 68 and 71.

Second-round leader Dana Quigley rebounded from a disastrous front nine to finish two shots back. He had a double bogey on the third hole and Ping Irons bogeyed the fourth on his way to an even-par 72.

Allen Doyle and Golf Wholesale Store Tom Jenkins were three shots back at 206. Jacobs had four birdies and the eagle on the back nine to wipe out a four-shot deficit to Morgan.
