That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the right answer to your question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I bump into an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you an answer..
Okay, this is proof that if you "hack" long enough, you can figure things out for yourself. I have figured out how to remove the unneeded navigation buttons (since I now have the log in box that changes to My Account when logged in). With luck (and more "hacking") I may also figure out the remaining answer on how to disable the "Welcome Guest" message for loging in or creating an account in the "index.php" section. Don't be shy, if you have the answer for the last remaing question, just jump right in...
In catalog/index.php look for:.
<?php echo tep_customer_greeting(); ?>.
And change it to:.
<?php //echo tep_customer_greeting(); ?>.
I was about to give up on it as no one was responding and I was getting no where fast..
I was about to post another question, however I was not sure of the best place to post it. My next project is to hopefully set up the "Manufacture Info" box to allow a customer to view and down load a specification sheet in "pdf" format. Can this be done?.
Again, thanks for the help...
Better yet, I believe it can be done in the "Products URL:" box in admin. Can I place the location of the pdf file in this box, ie: images/specsheet_1.pdf? Having the pdf located in the images folder of course...
I have installed autologin and loginbox v5.4 to my right column. I would like to do a couple of things:.
1)move it up one position to under the "shopping cart" box in the right column and swapping it for the "Special" box (move it just below the sign in box)..
2)remove the "welcome guest - - blah, blah, blah from the top of the "body" as well as all of the Navigation buttons except for the "Check Out" button. Anyone know how to accomplish these tasks?..
I figured out how to move the login box in the left column. Need help with the remaining items...
