Godaddy email / workspace email I can't get in?
Got a question... Godaddy email / workspace email I can't get in? Thanks for any comment. Another question... A Whois search of registered Internet domains reveals several Windows-related domains that were registered by an anonymous registrant on March 31 of this year, Tom's Hardware Guide discovered. Along with "windowsvista.com," the HostGator names "windowsruby.com," "windowsseven.com," "windows07.com," "windows06.com," "windowssapphire.com," and "windowsemerald.com" were registered at the same time.

Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I discover an useful answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could help you..

Hmm, "windows07.com"..

Maybe they thought LongHorn/Vista wouldn't be ready for 2006 either?..

Tom's fairly up on his game but he missed a few..

P.S. anyone interested in purchasing RubyThemes.com?..

Lol out of all those names, WindowsVista is actually the best name..

Out of the ones Tom has listed, yes it is the best...

Why do I think there is more to you than meets the eye..

Tom’s missing a few they had also considered..

Here’s the complete list:.

Windows Live.

(Check all the ccTLDs for Office Live and Win Live and you will understand).

Windows Vista.

Windows Ruby.

Windows View.

(they don’t have the .com as Blimp Photo beat them to it but check .cc and .ca and I think you’ll see).

Windows 07.

Windows Seven.

Windows Sapphire.

Windows Emerald.

Windows Wave.

Lol, I will have to feed my HostGator addiction sometime, but I'll try to stay away from Vista domains, hehe...

Did you actually register RubyThemes.com ? .

He he.

By the way - Windows Live could have been a good name as well, makes it sound a lot more multimedia related for some reason...

Yes, one week prior to registering VistaThemes.com.

If they were somehow forced to change the Vista name (I can hope but truly doubt it has even a remote chance) Live will almost certainly become the new name. Live Themes just sounds so cool to me...

Sapphire, Emerald, and Ruby? And I thought Vista was a bad name. It's starting to sound like a pretty good choice now...

I agree with you.

"Live" sounds interactive & alive....

The Microsoft Names could be just red Herrings.

With their money could reg just about all remaining Names Full stop...

Windows Seven is also good. Seven means perfect. Vista is good as well...

I like the sound of Windowsoasis as well, but Vista is alright..

Personally I don't think any are exceptional....but Vista would certainly sound better. Right from when I heard about LongHorn I was sceptical they would use it...it made little sense. What I would find funny is if Microsoft named it something completely different, and thousands of domains were rendered useless. It wouldn't be funny so much as Ironic and excruciatingly painful for those who have forked out their hard earned for useless domains...

I dunno I think my vistapic sounds kinda nice anyway.

Vista + pictures..

Even if they don't call the next windows Vista vistapics could still be an unrelated site...I think your on a winner there...

I'm gonna rush out and register windowscubiczirconia.com and windowsrhinestone.com. I'll be set for life when they change the name!..

Hmm... I will now have to go and get a lot more names..

Lol unless I start getting donations I cant afford anything more..

You don't need anymore names, it’s going to cost me $1,000 a year to keep my “Live” domains until the next beta release somewhere around 2011 or ’12. Wow that’s going to get expensive...

While we're at it lets all hurry and reg windowsinsertnamehere.com, windowsrandomname.com and for some reason lets go reg windowsiswondows.com. In case you haven't got my point I don't think it's worth buying domains relating to something that hasn't even been completed yet....with the first windows it took them a matter of years just to think of the name 'windows' and they changed it around 6 or 7 times...
