Haven't had a problem with it, does the server support smtp... that might be a better option. Have you checked that the server supports sendmail? It could be that the iPage hosting company changed their config hence why it would stop working for no apparent reason.

This may seem silly, but why not download a fresh copy of the affected files and do a comparison?.
I had one once that only uploaded half the coding - luckily someone found it for me and replaced it with a fresh copy...
Many thanks for the responses, and yes I've tried comparing the files, everything is normal! I've asked and my webhost has confirmed that it supports all PHP and mail functions such as SendMail and smtp.... It's just so strange, i've even opened up files like functions/general.php and compared them with newer ones to make sure everything is correct and it is... but still not working.
Any other ideas?.
What did you use to compare the files? the human eye or a comparison tool within a text editor?..
If you have access to WHM (CPanel users), go to "Tweak Settings" and find the line that says "Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses (php and cgi scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using phpsuexec and suexec respectively.)".
Uncheck this box. Else, we shall have to find a way to make osCommerce run as someone else using phpsuexec. Tested and works for me..
Does anyone know why, when I try to use the contact_us.php form to submit a question to my store owner (me in this case), upon clicking the submit button, nothing happens, other than the page itself seems to refresh and do nothing.. I have entered information into all the fields and tried numerous times. I get no success message or anything just nothing, no email, nothing. I've also noticed that the 'Forgotten Password' page is also not sending the password to the user, so I'm thinking it's possibly a problem with the PHP's SendMail function?.
All I know is it's really frustrating and it's the only thing holding up the completion of my store.
I'd really appreciate it if someone could enlighten me as to what I may need to do, oh and yes I've tried several clean installs and I get the same problem every time! I can't get my head around it at all, it's so weird. I know my web server is PHP compatible and I have even been able to use the contact_us.php form successfully at one point, when I first installed OSC nearly a year ago. Then one day it just stopped working and never worked since!.
