Thought I would share my latest NSV. When I started this journey I was wearing 42" pants, worn strategically below the gut, so I should have actually been in 44's or maybe even bigger. I had pants in my closet going down to 38's from a few years ago when I lost weight, (which of course I gained back), but only a few pair. So this evening I finally went clothes shopping, and was shocked when I was able to comfortably get into 36's! I couldn't believe it. Also, I have officially moved into XL shirts, rather than XXL's or worse. What a feeling.



On a related note, now that I'm nearing my goal I'm thinking seriously that I set my sights too low. While I look like a totally different person, I feel like there is definitely going to be more weight to lose. I'm going to have to re-evaluate when I hit 225. Maybe 200...hmmm....

Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at Nutrisystem as they probably can answer it..

Congrats. You're probably way taller than I and skinnier too. I am still far from a 36...and still have belly over the belt...

Rhino, I'm almost 6'2". My BMI is around 30, but it's always way off because I'm a big framed ex-football player and carry a ton of weight in my legs. 225 is actually a pretty good weight for me, but as I've gotten more serious about cycling I've come to realize that anything over 200 is enormous. Of course I never want to look like I can't bench press a shoot of bamboo..

GP, stick with it. Just a few months ago I wasn't skinnier than just about anyone. In fact, I was a lard ass!.

Congrats on the NSV! How about if you continue your weight loss and then re-evaluate every five pounds or so? Just a thought, I'm not an expert by any means!..

Bill, FanTasTic! You're KICKING this program! At 6'2", w/muscle it's anyone's guess where you want to land. Go for 34's. If you want an interesting exercise, tape measure around the hips and than around your belly. As soon as belly <= hips, you're there! Don't really need any of that. As you unveil, you'll see what still has to go. Gotta watch that giggling like a girl in the changing room though..

Congrats Bear. I often think I may have set my goal to low aiming for 230 but I'll reevaluate it when I get there. I only hope when this day comes for me I remember to zip my fly, because I will be running through the store telling everyone I see about my accomplishment. I figure I can take a few guards out before they tase (taze?) me...
