First question I have is Has anyone gotten a message like this: ":) www.iPage.com/x773937445827pics :)"? Looking forward for any answer. My other question... I have just recently been notified that when Customers log into their account they are seeing other customers information. They are seeing orders from other customers in their account. I cannot duplicate the issue to see what they are experiencing to even know where to start to fix this..

Can someone please HELP!! I need to fix this ASAP and have no idea where to start..

Thanks.

Tom..

That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some investigation and get back to you if I find an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could give you help..

You are correct I did leave it to /tmp I am a bit confused on how to change it. do you mean to change it to /home/me/B2.com/catalog/tmp Is that Correct??.

Thanks..

No I just used that as an example as I dont know what the absolute path to your shop directory is (as all servers have different directory paths).

If you goto your admin section.

And click on.

Tools.

Then click on.

Database Backup.

At the bottom you will see: Backup Directory: /home/var/dirctory/..../catalog/admin.

(NOT EXACTLY LIKE THAT DIRECTORY I PUT BUT I JUST USED THAT AS AN EXAMPLE...

This is the ABSOLUTE path to your ADMIN directory ... all you need to do is copy this full path ... then in that sessions directory where you have just.

Tmp.

... change it to that path you copied...but remember that path is to your.

/admin.

Dir so you just need to change.

/admin.

To.

/tmp.

So it should look something like this:.

/home/var/dirctory/..../catalog/tmp.

Now all you need to do is ensure this.

Tmp.

Directory exists in your.

/catalog.

Directory and your set ... (PLEASE NOTE: It doesn't HAVE to be named.

Tmp.

You can name it whatever you like .. just make sure whatever you set it to in the admin section that you have this directory in your.

/catalog.

Directory).

Also ensure you set.

Prevent Spider Sessions.

To.

True.

And.

Recreate Session.

To.

True..

Thank you for your help I think I got it..

This is what I found in the Backup Directory:.

Backup Directory: c:/websites/mydomainname345/mydomainname.com/oscommerce/admin/backups.

I changed the session to:.

Websites/mydomainname345/mydomainname.com/oscommerce/admin/tmp.

If you could please let me know if I have done this correctly..

I have Prevent Spider Session and Recreate Session also set to true.

I really appreciate your help..

Websites/mydomainname345/mydomainname.com/oscommerce/admin/tmp.

Should be.

Websites/mydomainname345/mydomainname.com/oscommerce/tmp.

Get rid of the.

/admin.

Make sure you have.

Tmp.

Folder in your store root directory!..

Search the forum for a more detailed explanation been covered many times.

Check your admin.

And under.

Configuration.

Click on.

My Store.

Then goto.

Sessions.

- Check your session directory - I'm guessing you've just left this as.

Tmp.

- this needs to be ABSOLUTE directory to your store (e.g - /home/me/mydomain/catalog/tmp/) ... set.

Prevent Spider Sessions.

To.

True.

And set.

Recreate Session.

To true..
