Quick question... Has anyone had a web build through iPage.com? Thanks in advance for any comment. Second question of mine... Sorry for all the questions - I'm a newbie..

I want to remove the welcome heading title and the picture to the right of it in the index.php file. I want the Welcome guest (or member) info on the top instead so I dont want any space there either..

I dont want to delete the wrong info from the file. Any help?.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I got an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

To remove the picture change this.

       <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

To this.

       <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php //echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

In your index.php file..

You can comment out the same code in each file where you don't want the picture to show...

Can see that coding in my index.php file.

This is what my index code is. can you help tell me what to edit.

You seem to be looking at includes/languages/english/index.php.

You need to look in catalog/index.php..

Thanks I found it..

But where else would I need to look if I wanted to get rid of thoses pics al through out my website?..

You will need to look in each file in your catalog directory...

I have looked in the dir:.

Includes/languages/english/.

And.

Catalog/.

But I can't seem to fine any of the following code:.

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES'table_background_default.gif', HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

So I would like to know where 2 look?..

If you want to remove the welcome text I already told you how to take care of that. In your catalog/include/languages/english/index.php file you can remove all of the text between the ' ' marks on the.

Define('TEXT_MAIN', ' ');.

Remember to keep you links to "Login in" or "create account"..

Yes I know how to do that. But I'm now looking to remove all the table_background_____.gif images from the standard pages. They are found in between the left and right coloum which is the body coloum and then found on the top right hand of the main body...

The issue is that there are different images being used on different pages so you will have to search for part of the code.

<td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES ..

And then double check that you have the correct section of code by looking at the last part.

, HEADING_TITLE, HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>..

That wasnt me asking the same question - I fixed it after I read the 1st post. Someone else jumpoed in the thread to ask the same question..

Chris..

Thanks for the info but I have done this and on the main catalog page the picture still comes up and Im not sure why:.

<td class="pageHeading"><?php echo HEADING_TITLE; ?></td>.

           <td class="pageHeading" align="right"><?php //echo tep_image(DIR_WS_IMAGES$category['categories_image'], $category['categories_name'], HEADING_IMAGE_WIDTH, HEADING_IMAGE_HEIGHT); ?></td>.

Above is what I changed it to and it appears to be the same as you posted. My iPage site is at www.rustysoaptraders.com/catalog..

I ma not sure what you are talking about,.

But the image I dislike,.

I just remove all color and cut to 1x1 pixel and upload,.

About the pixel-trans.gif,.

Go to include/class/boxes.php and fix hight to 0 is what I did..

I hope it helps...

Go to your catalog/includes/languages/english/index.php file and change the text in this section between the tick marks. Also remember to deliniate any hyphens, i.e. if you write the word that's it should look like this (that\'s).

Define('TEXT_MAIN', ' ');..
