Good question... I dunno what is the answer to that question. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at Godaddy as they probably could answer your Godaddy question..

Yeah really I am surprised too that nobody bidded on it...

Will watch this.

Any ideas what it's gonna go for?..

It'll probably spike up closer to the end of auction...

Nice going Steve.

$960 after 6 bids ain't all that bad....

I might have a bash at this one will see how high it flies!!..

I would love to bid on this one, but I do not have $19,999 to spare right now haha~..

I wish the reserve had already been met at this point....

But IMHO it's definitely worth it.

Good name but I would only pay 1k the dot com would be worth much more...

$2551 after seven bids isn't shabby either..

$19,999 reserve on it though...

That's a 250% increase in one we're talking..

I'm puzzled... Why a company that specializes on web design and hosting would ever sell ""? WHY? Unless they're desperate for money, which is probably the case according to listing's last sentence. MUst be heartbreaking for them..

If I lived closer to Columbus, Ohio - I would try to contact the company offering partnership or investment to help them get out of money problems and make a good use of this domain. Anyone wants to try?..

Yeah my max bid was US $2,501.00.

Anyways, Im out of the running.

Was kind of hoping they lowered the reserve.

If they really are that desperate for money, there has be a better solution for them than selling off one of the "great" webdesign HostGator names on the internet. Like you, I'm puzzled as to why they would sell the HostGator with a huge loss, when the HostGator has such a huge potential..

Just parking it and putting ads up would probably make them more money in a couple of months than what they get for it now on ebay...

Bid confirmed. You are the high bidder!.

Dear teen_vamp,.

You are currently the high bidder for the following eBay item.

WebDesign.Net ! One of the best domains in the world!.

Your current bid: US $11,100.00 (Reserve not met).

Your maximum bid: US $.

Details for item number: 5799848899.

Item URL:.

End date: Saturday, 27 Aug, 2005 07:26:37 BST.

Seller: columbuswebsolutions [contact seller].

It's a bit higher now..

How much are you prepared to pay for it? hehe..

I have the funds to carry through with my bids.

EDIT: Oops, didnt read what you said....

Not sure, I think I can stretch $25k.... but, I need to think long and hard about this one......

Wow it's reached $11,300 and it's only about half way through the auction, I wonder what it will reach by the end of the auction, I doubt it will get the $49,999 they paid for it..

Well good luck Tom, this obviously has great dev potential..

I don’t understand Tom. In other threads you seem to act poor, or like you are scraping for any money you can get your hands on… now you can afford $25k for a domain?..

I'm basically getting a loan (via someone else), but, it appears I can't bid over 15k on ebay without a credit card.

So, Scott appears to be wanting this one...

P.S. I don't have much money, he does.

Basically, I was expecting the HostGator to pay itself off (which it would).

P.P.S. I don't like the term "scraping for any money you can get your hands on" thanks.....

I mean, if you don't have time to develop this into a web design firm I would strongly suggest making it into a webdesign directory divided into country and area categories...

Sorry, I just call it how I see it...

Just PM if in doubt.

Sorry, didn't realise I was regarded as a "sponger" here.....

I'll slowly take my leave, don't want that image to be honest.....

Untill "reserve not met" stands there at now US $15,099.00 this is only appraisals,.

Eaven more as the reserve is showen.

Ever thought of getting a.

Appraisal by paying ebay reserve price fees ? .

"We paid $49,999 for this name a while back".

Wowww, they paid way too much imo...

I definetly set up ContentDesigner_com at Ebay if this acution goes over reserve..

> Fun bidders watch out as, the owner could have set reserve lower - lol..

Just seen this auction - unbelivable. Wish I had the money to buy it... damn.

Added to watch list tho.

All the best,.
