That's a good question. I'm not sure what is the answer to that question. I'll do some poking around and get back to you if I discover an good answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
Thanks for reply. Not using at all?? You mean PL language? I want to use and it must work. Arabics works, greek works, russian works, turkich works, so why shouldn`t I use PL?..
I was in File Manager. I opened the file in NotePad. Doesn`t looks good. I made some changes but...it doeasn`t seem to work or I made some mistake while uploading...
Notepad may not be handling the character set properly either. Is your copy of Windows set to use the correct language, or is it set to English only? Adding more language character sets may help (Settings > Control Panel > Regional Options)..
When downloading/uploading, try forcing your FTP client to use ASCII and see if this helps..
If none of this works, please post a small part of the file that shows the problem, and maybe some of us will be able to help..
I have recently figured out how to upload second language to my OSC and I`m very happy about it. Everything seemed fine, but when I tried to change that iPage site as I did partly with English, it shows me in File Manager (var/www/catalog/includes/languages/polish/index.php.) following message:.
With .../english/index.php I had no problem. What should I do?.
Thank you for help..
Do what it says: Download the file, edit with a text or code editor, and upload the changed file. File Manager cannot handle the special characters needed by your language file. In fact, there are several things that it can't handle. I recommend not using it at all..
