Hosting and Domain Transfers on iPage.com?

First question I got is Hosting and Domain Transfers on iPage.com? Many thanks for any answer or 2. Another question... I have changed my iPage domain name from innovatedlifestyleproducts.com to innovativelifestyleproducts.com..

The catalog is working fine at the old iPage domain name and I want to change the iPage site to the new iPage domain name..

The pages are remaining on the same server but a different iPage domain account as listed above..

It seems like it would be an easy process but I seem to be having problems..

How do I go about doing this??? Where do I begin???.

It would be greatly appreciated if someone could steer me in the right direction..

Thanking you all in advance..

Rochelle..

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I find an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Not necessarily, you need to know if you have rights to the database via the new account name, if not you will need to create a new database and import the data..

Are you having to copy the files to a new folder?..

Hi,.

Has the new iPage domain name propogatted throughout the internet yet ? It can take up to 72 hours sometimes. I mean, can you access the new iPage domain ??.

When I try to log into the catalog I receive the following error:.

Warning: Unknown MySQL Server Host 'http' (2) in /home/www/innovativelifestyleproducts/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 17.

Now when trying to log into the admin I receive the following error:.

1146 - Table 'osc.configuration' doesn't exist.

Select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration.

[TEP STOP].

How do I add my existing database from my recent catalog?.

This is what is listed in my phpmyadmin.

Create new table on database osc :.

Name :.

Fields :.

Thanks,.

Hi,.

Create the user first, then create the database, then 'assign/attach' the user to the database..

Hi,.

I don't know where to begin. In the first post:.

However, when I did a ping to resolve the IP addresses, the domain:.

Innovatedlifestyleproducts.com = 66.70.175.215.

Innovativelifestyleproducts.com = 216.71.168.223.

That doesn't mean they aren't on the same server, I'm just trying to understand how you have things setup now, and how the new iPage domain is setup..

Do you have a control panel, like CPanel ? Most likely you do, if you have been able to use PHPMyAdmin..

Has all the osCommerce files (PHP, GIf's,etc) been copied over to the new account ? .

Have you changed the constants in configure.php ? .

I have changed the specs in the config.php in /catalog/includes/config.php and /admin/includes/config.php.

But when I try to access my.

I receive the following.

Error:.

1146 - Table 'osc.configuration' doesn't exist.

Select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration.

[TEP STOP].

When I try to go to my catalog iPage site I receive the following error script:.

When I go to phpmyadmin it tells me that No tables found in database..

I tried to go to my old phpmyadmin and download the files but it didn't seem to work...

I am at wits end and need to get this iPage site working soon....

I have been up very late the last couple of nights trying tio fix this myself but to no avail....

Thanks to everyone for their input thus far as I really appreciate it....

P.S. I think the main thing is to find a way to get the tables to my new site??? and then it will be hopefully complete..

Hi,.

Because of this .........

Define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');.

And your actual 'catalog' is.

Then ........ I think it should be.

Define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', '/catalog/includes/');.

That is, assuming that the includes path is relative to the constant HTTP_SERVER.

The error msg is because the constant DIR_WS_INCLUDES hasn't been resolved..

Hi,.

Using phpMyAdmin 2.5.6-rc1.

1. Select the osCommerce database, if there are more than 1 db used..

2. Click either the EXPORT link or the EXPOT tab..

3. Under 'Export', select the db if you have more than 1 db, otherwise leave..

4. Under 'Export', the SQL radio button to be selected..

5. Under SQL options check (tick) the following:.

Add DROP DATABASE.

Structure.

Add 'drop table'.

Add AUTO_INCREMENT value.

Enclose table and field names with backquotes.

Data.

6. Under the 'Save as file' options:.

Check the box "Save as file".

Compression 'none'.

7. Press the GO button, and you will be prompted to supply a filename and the folder where you want the file exported to. Call the file something like oldaccdb.sql.

That's it, you have all the data and all the schema, everything to load into the new db..

All you need to do is to open catalog/includes/configure.php and the admin/includes/configure.php and change the iPage domain name occurences - if the path has changed you need to tell OSC the right path - that's it..
