Good question... I dunno what is the right answer. I'll do some Googling and get back to you if I got an useful answer. You should email the people at iPage as they probably can answer it..
How I edit the configure.php like you meen?.
How I edit OSC to use store database to store sessions?..
There was no suggestion to edit configure.php..
Look in sessions in your admin...
Safe mode restriction comes in generally when Your FS path is wrong or in admin change tmp/ to tmp.
Wath is FS?.
How I do fore fix the problem?..
Hello ZZ Johan,.
I feel your pain, I have tried for weeks now to make it all work..
What I got from the webhotel provider was this:.
$filename = "configure.php.
Echo "chmod for $filename was changed";.
However, you do need to rename the .htaccess file in that folder to something else before trying (You can only do this via FTP), or else it won't work!.
Also save the above script in a .php file named chmod.php and put it in the same folder as configure.php...
When this is complete, open the chmod file in a web browser and your file should be write protected for sure..
When done, remember to rename the other file back to .htaccess.
As for your sessions errors .. delete all of your files on the host, start over, and make sure all php files are transferred as ASCII and pictures normal mode ...
Remember to delete the install folder once you are done!.
I hope this is useful .. post a reply if there is anything else to ask for...
When I install the OCS I get some error..
I got www.one.com as webhotel..
The link to the page is:.
I cant find the /tmp folder..
Wath I need to to fr fix the problem..

Either create a "tmp" directory within your own web space on the shared server, or better yet, configure osC to use your store database to store sessions. Edit your configure.php files to reflect these changes in any case...
