First question I got is How can I retrieve some data on my old iPage account? Thanks for any comment. Second question.. Not sure how long this has been showing on my iPage site so I dont know how I messed it up but on my Create Account page but there is code showing (in red) after each field:.

Ie..

First Name: (the blank field is here) ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_TEXT.

Last Name: (the blank field is here) ENTRY_LAST_NAME_TEXT.

Date of Birth: (the blank field is here) ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH_TEXT.

E-Mail Address: (the blank field is here) ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_TEXT.

The create account is working fine though..

I have also just noticed that at the bottom of the checkout pages the progress bar is ahowing like this :.

CHECKOUT_BAR_DELIVERY CHECKOUT_BAR_PAYMENT CHECKOUT_BAR_CONFIRMATION CHECKOUT_BAR_FINISHED.

But again this is working fine ? .

Any help very gratefully received as usual !.

Many thanks.

Richard.

I'm stumped. I'm not so sure what is the answer to your question. I'll do some research in Google and get back to you if I discover an anything. You should email the people at iPage as they probably could help you..

Thanks Fimble but that file appears to only relate to the email sent out after registration..

I am a bit of a newbie with oscommerce and php so if you wouldnt mind being a little more specific for an old duffer !.

Thanks:.

Code here:.

Define('NAVBAR_TITLE', 'Create an Account');.

Yep found the code that appears to be relevant to my page but I dont know what is causing the code to show through onto my page..

Can you point me in the right direction please?.

An excerpt from the page code is here:.

Many thanks.

Efine('ENTRY_FIRST_NAME', 'First Name:');.

Define('ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_ERROR', 'Your First Name must contain a minimum of 'ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_MIN_LENGTH' characters.');.

Define('ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_TEXT', '*');.

Define('ENTRY_LAST_NAME', 'Last Name:');.

Define('ENTRY_LAST_NAME_ERROR', 'Your Last Name must contain a minimum of 'ENTRY_LAST_NAME_MIN_LENGTH' characters.');.

Define('ENTRY_LAST_NAME_TEXT', '*');.

Define('ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH', 'Date of Birth:');.

Define('ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH_ERROR', 'Your Date of Birth must be in this format: MM/DD/YYYY (eg 05/21/1970)');.

Define('ENTRY_DATE_OF_BIRTH_TEXT', '* (eg. 05/21/1970)');.

Define('ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS', 'E-Mail Address:');.

Define('ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_ERROR', 'Your E-Mail Address must contain a minimum of 'ENTRY_EMAIL_ADDRESS_MIN_LENGTH' characters.');.

Replace the '*' with the actual text that you want to show up on your website. Not sure what would have erased it, because it usually is there to start with, but just fill it back in again..

Lindsay..

Thanks for taking the time but the problem isnt the missing text but the text that is showing through as code on my iPage website as you can see here :.

I dont know how to prevent this and am hoping someone can tell me how..

Many thanks.

Richard..

It IS missing text..

The "code" that is displaying is ONLY showing because it is not defined on that english page. Just do what I said and it WILL look right.. I promise. Did you notice that all of the ones with the * are the ones that have the "code" showing???..

Post a section of your code..

Say the code that shows the "First Name" box..

Should look about like this:.

<td class="main"><?php echo ENTRY_FIRST_NAME; ?></td>.

<td class="main"><?php echo tep_draw_input_field('firstname')'&nbsp;'(tep_not_null(ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_TEXT) ? '<span class="inputRequirement">'ENTRY_FIRST_NAME_TEXT'</span>': ''); ?></td>.

I think you've got some code errors...

I fixed it - well you lot did ! thanks for your help..

The error it seems must have been on the uploaded page because I changed the * in one of the lines and uploaded it and that was the only one that showed up wrong so I changed it back and uploaded again and now it's all fine again. it must have been something else I uploaded that messed it up online, just need to see which of my contributions it was and what else doesnt work now !.

Thanks again for all your help..

Richard..
